I’m a retired teacher, mom of 4 grown children, and Nana of 5 youngsters! Before going back to teaching, I worked for several years at a local veterinarian. We’ve had dogs as members of our family for 25 years, ranging in size from 10-105#. Our mini dachshund just passed and we are now “dogless”. While having them, it was always difficult to travel because I wouldn’t board them. We’d love to care for your dog as we did for ours. We live at the end of a road outside of Eagle River with little to no traffic. Although we’d love to have another dog of our own, we’ve decided to do some traveling, which can be difficult with animals. Our daughter has just moved and taken her two cats with her, so we are missing pets!

Jayne took exceptional care of our dog, Monroe, while we stayed at an Airbnb in Eagle River that didn’t allow pets. She was only about 15 minutes away, making the drop off and pick-up very convenient. From the beginning, Jayne communicated often, asking thoughtful questions and sending updates so we always knew Monroe was doing well. She truly went above and beyond to make him feel at home. When she learned that Monroe sleeps best in our bed, she even convinced her husband to sleep in another room so Monroe could be comfortable! That level of kindness and flexibility says everything about how much she cares for the dogs she watches. Knowing Monroe was so loved and well cared for allowed us to completely enjoy our vacation. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Monroe with Jayne again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy, and dedicated dog sitter in the Eagle River area.
Jayne is a loving and kind pet sitter. Our dog, JuJu, stayed with Jayne while we were away. JuJu was walked everyday and cared for as if she was part of the family. Don't hesitate to leave your baby, they will be in excellent hands.
We are very satisfied with the care our two Cavaliers received from Jayne. She sent pictures and updates. We will be using her again the next time we leave town!
Jayne was so great with our pets while we were on vacation! She made sure everyone was fed, cleaned up and played with while she visited. Definitely recommended and would book her again for sure :)
We hit the jackpot when we encountered Jane on Rover. We were staying at an Airbnb and needed a sitter for our dog that has separation anxiety. He took an immediate liking to jayne! We had no worries as we left, watching him warm up to her instantly. She is timely, professional, trustworthy, and most of all loving to our sweet Sonny! She sent us pictures of him snuggling with her, which makes any doggy parent so happy! I would definitely recommend Jane to whoever needs a responsible, caring sitter! Thank you Jayne! We are grateful!!!

Schedule
As I said, I’m a retired teacher, so my time is your dog’s time. There are times When we travel to Atlanta to babysit our grandkids ,but we always know in advance.

I require your dog to be leashed while I care For him, unless we have discussed otherwise We have so much room to walk paths and areas in good weather.
A typical day
As I mentioned, we walk many times during the day, as per your dog’s ability. I have a huge family room downstairs for exercise and play.
