Growing up with 7 cats and 1 dog certainly sparked my interest in animals. As a kid, I volunteered at my local vet's office and walked dogs in the neighborhood. As an adult, I have worked for various dog-walking/pet-sitting companies in the city, along with being the go-to pet sitter when friends and family went on vacations. Within the past two years, I (finally) adopted my own dog and completed grad school, earning my Masters in Social Work. As I journey to find the right-fitting FT job, I'm looking to get more animal interaction, along with some extra income. I've watched dogs in my spacious apartment and my dog, Kevin, loves having a playmate (or napmate!).

Highly recommend!! Jayme was a great caretaker for Harvey! Upon our meet and greet, I could tell she was responsible & attentive, and that she really cared for dogs. Harvey had a blast and we will definitely be booking again in the future! Thank you Jayme! :)
Jayme was AMAZING! She has such a warm energy towards dogs and is very experienced in caring for animals. Louie seemed to love his visit playing with her dog Kevin! She was great with administering medication and kept up great communication by sending pictures and videos. Jayme and Kevin were great host. I will be using her again in the future!

Schedule
I work as a school social worker so am currently on summer break. Kevin and I are home most of the time, either crafting, puzzling, or playing!

Safety, trust & environment
I live on a very dog-friendly block so, although I don't have a fenced in yard, we will go on walks-a-plenty! I'm also located close to a couple of dog parks for the very energetic pups. With your permission, your dog(s) can join Kevin and I at the dog beach at Montrose, too! Additionally, I do have a couple of live-feed cameras to keep an eye on things while I'm out. And I have two crates, if your dog does better crated.
Pets
A typical day
Because my dog is still a puppy at heart, we do a lot of enrichment activities and training exercises. Kevin loves to chew frozen veggies so there is always something ready to go in the freezer! I also love somewhat ridiculous commands - want to teach your dog to lay on their back when you say 'chill out'? I'm here for it!
