Pet care experience

Attentive, accommodating dog mum 🐾

My dog, Major, and I do practically everything together, and other pups easily fit in at our home and into our day-to-day life. We've been through extensive training together, so he's very attentive and I can continue any training you may be working on with your dog while you're away. I only take one client at a time and work from home when I have clients, so your pet will be cared for around the clock! There aren't any stairs that your pet will need to use, so those with mobility issues are absolutely welcome here.

Doggy Day Care • Nov 05, 2025

Jayme was absolutely wonderful with my senior dog! She was very communicative, thoughtful, and patient. She even worked in a last-minute schedule change on my end. Jayme shows she really cares about your pets. That gave me a piece of mind that my dog was in great hands. Thank you Jayme!!

Again, Jayme was absolutely wonderful. My two senior dogs had a blast with her! They made themselves right at home within minutes from drop off. In the daily photos I received for updates, it was clear that they were enjoying themselves and feeling safe/relaxed. Jayme was very receptive to my concerns and ensured that my dogs had their needs met and more. The more I use her to Rover my dogs, my decisions continues to be positively reinforced that she definitely is the right sitter as my “go-to” person for Rover.

This were my dogs’ second visit this year and five months have passed by since their last visit. I was concerned about re-acclimation might be needed again but nope. My dogs made themselves comfortable within the hour, which confirmed that Jayme’s home provides that sense of security for them. Dog updates and pictures were sent throughout the trip and I could see that my dogs were feeling right at home. Another note I wanted to make - I changed my drop-off/pick-up times for the dogs due to circumstances and Jayme was understanding and flexible with this, which I greatly appreciated. I’ve already booked her next month for a two-week trip and know that my dogs will be in great care during my trip.

My search for a Rover for my two dogs was difficult due to their background as rescued dogs. They both are also senior dogs (11 and 9 years old). When I came across Jayme’s profile, I knew I met a match for them. Jayme was absolutely wonderful. One of my dogs is a recently rescued special needs dog and Jayme demonstrated patience and kindness towards him. He showed that he was comfortable with her and her sweet dog, who also is a senior dog too. Jayme’s personality is very warm, which was why my other dog who is timid and has trust issues opened up to her quickly. Additionally, Jayme was responsive to my questions and concerns. She wasn’t afraid to ask questions to ensure that my dogs got their needs met. I loved that she had a large backyard that did not require any steps to access to, which was perfect for my arthritic dog. Throughout their stay, my dogs were treated as if her home were their homes too so they could truly be themselves. Needless to say, she has earned my dogs’ and my trust to become a returning customer! I would absolutely recommend her to another Rover customer.

Jayme is an incredibly compassionate pet owner and caregiver. As a naturally empathetic person, she gives the highest love and attention to every "furbaby" while balancing the responsibility of care. We know that sometimes pets can be trying, but Jayme has addressed every challenge with patience and full respect and responsibility. We're very picky about who watches our own dog, but we've trusted Jayme several times with him and will continue to do so. There is no doubt in my mind that she knows exactly how to give a pet attention for both fun and emergencies.

Jayme is one of the most responsible and caring person I’ve ever met. She is incredibly detailed oriented and loves dogs so much. She’s already experienced caring for family members dogs of various ages and some who require significant medical care due to their age. She’d be a great rover care member.

Schedule

I've been able to work with a fairly unique schedule and setup for my own dog's needs (e.g. 3 meals a day, not being left alone, sticking mostly to the ground level of the house), so there probably isn't much your pet can throw at me that I can't accommodate 😉 We typically do very short walks if any on a given day, but I can morning, evening, and nighttime walks with your dog, as well as afternoon walks when I don't have meetings. Dogs get plenty of potty breaks between and during meetings, as well as morning and night.

Safety, trust & environment

I have a 6' vinyl privacy fence around the back and side yards that is just a couple years old. The front and back doors are at ground level, which is easier on those with mobility concerns. Being in the middle of an established neighborhood, the streets don't get a lot of traffic and things stay lively but peaceful. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, and I have a very sturdy crate always available if preferred. We live in a drug-free and smoke-free home, so no smell and nothing hazardous for your pup to get into or be surrounded by.

Pets

A typical day

We'll have plenty of outside time and couch time according to your pet's preferences, and if they are good with car rides (and with your permission), we can go to the nearby dog park. I have a small selection of enrichment games that we can play with, as well! I keep at least 3 large dog beds (2 of which are orthopedic) and 2 large dog pillows, as well as 2 dog-only blankets, around for everyone to choose which bed they prefer at any given time, and all beds, pillows, and blankets are washed regularly.
