Safety, trust & environment

When I’m caring for your pet in your home, my top priorities are safety, respect, and maintaining the routine your pet already knows and loves. I treat your space the same way I treat your pet — with care, calm, and attention to detail. I always follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules and medication routines to preferred walking routes, litter setups, and house rules. I keep doors and gates secure, double-check leashes and harnesses, and make sure your pet never has access to anything unsafe or off-limits in the home. I move slowly, stay observant, and let your pet set the pace — especially with shy, anxious, or first-time-with-a-sitter animals. I clean up after myself, leave everything exactly as I found it, and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and understood while you’re away. You’ll receive consistent updates, photos, and check-ins so you always know how things are going. My goal is simple: create a calm, trustworthy environment where your pet feels cared for and your home feels respected.

Information Jayme H. would like to know about your pet

I’ve had my fair share of family dogs with all kinds of needs, personalities, and health challenges, so the more I know upfront, the better I can care for your pup exactly the way you do. Throughout my life, I’ve helped care for dogs with: Epilepsy Hip dysplasia Diabetes Mobility issues Anxiety or fearfulness Senior needs Dietary restrictions Medication routines I’m comfortable administering medications, supporting senior pups, and helping maintain special diets, including preparing simple cooked meals like chicken and rice when needed. Before booking, it’s really helpful to know: Any medical conditions or past health concerns Medications and how they’re given Mobility limitations Allergies or food sensitivities Behavioral quirks (shy, reactive, nervous, excitable, etc.) Feeding schedules and routines What comforts or soothes them most The more details you share, the more I can make sure your dog feels safe, understood, and perfectly cared for while you’re away. 🐾💛

A typical day

I love keeping pets happy, active, and mentally stimulated. If your pup loves to play fetch, you’re (and your pup) are in luck! I’m a former D1 softball player, so I’ve got an arm that can keep even the most energetic dogs satisfied! ⚾🐶 Depending on your dog’s personality and energy level, our time together might include: Power walks or leisurely neighborhood strolls Fetch sessions with serious throws Enrichment games and mental stimulation Puzzle toys, snuffle mats, or hide-and-seek treats Backyard playtime and exploration Calm cuddle or relaxation time for more lowkey pups I always adjust activities to match your pet’s needs, routines, and preferences whether they’re high energy adventure dogs or gentle homebodies. My goal is to make sure they stay happy, engaged, and loved while you’re away.

Pet care experience

Hi! I’m Jayme! I know leaving your babies can be stressful, and trying to find the perfect sitter on an app can feel just as nerve-wracking. I appreciate you taking the time to read my profile, and I hope you find the right fit for your pet, no matter who you choose. I’m always open to chatting beforehand to make sure we’re a great match and that you feel completely comfortable. 💛🐾 More about me: I am someone who was quite literally raised by dogs. Growing up, my “siblings” were always a rotating pack of three pups at a time, all different sizes and breeds. My parents were firm believers in training, responsibility, and consistent care, so looking after dogs wasn’t just something I did, it was how I was raised to love them. As an adult, I adopted my first rescue, an Australian Shepherd mix, and truly experienced what it means to love a dog with your whole heart. She taught me patience, devotion, and how much joy a dog brings into a home (and how much hair). Today, although I’m a cat mom of 4, I’m still my friends’ (and their friends’ friends’) favorite dog sitter. Whether your dog is high energy, anxious, goofy, or chill, I’m ready to meet them where they are. Power walks? Fetch marathons? Couch snuggles? Routine and structure? I’m here for all of it. I’m incredibly attentive and give detailed updates because I know what it feels like to be an anxious pet parent. You’ll always know how your pup is doing, what we did, and how much fun they had. 🐶📸 If you want someone loving, patient, reliable, and experienced with pups of all personalities, I’d love to care for your dog like family.

I have seen first hand how well Jayme cares for her 4 pets - finding them the perfect toys, food, and routines - and she has extended the same love and attention to my own cat. There is really no one better to care for your pets than her!

Jayme is an amazing pet caregiver and a devoted cat owner herself, with four happy and chonky cats at home. She's attentive with all types of pets and especially detail-oriented if they require medication and additional cuddles. Jayme is incredibly reliable, communicative, and gentle with pets. Any pet (or human!) would be in excellent hands!
