Pet care experience

Loved Like Family, One at a Time ❤️

Quality over quantity; that’s how we approach pet care. We’re a mother-daughter team with more than 20 years of experience loving and caring for dogs, and we prefer to welcome one family’s dogs at a time so every pup receives the personalized attention they deserve. I’m Loni, a retired kindergarten teacher and lifelong dog lover, and my daughter Jayla is a pre-med college student. Together, we bring patience, attentiveness, compassion, and lots of love to every stay. Over the years, we’ve cared for dogs of all ages, personalities, and needs—from high-energy puppies to seniors requiring a gentler pace. We’re comfortable administering medications, maintaining feeding and medication schedules, reinforcing basic routines, and providing extra patience and attention to dogs with special needs. Our experience includes caring for both blind and deaf dogs. After loving three dogs of our own who have since passed, our home has become much quieter. As an empty nester, I now have the time, flexibility, and plenty of love to give your fur baby. They aren't just boarding with us; they become part of our family while they're here. Our guests enjoy a peaceful, non-smoking home, a large fenced backyard, plenty of companionship, couch cuddles, playtime, walks, and lots of individual attention. Someone is home much of the day, so your pup won't routinely spend long stretches alone. And expect pictures! We love keeping pet parents updated so you can enjoy your time away knowing your baby is safe, comfortable, and loved. Fewer dogs. More attention. Lots of love. ❤️

We couldn't have asked for better care for our Shih-Poo. Yolonda rolled out the red carpet and attended to his every need. She sent pictures and gave us updates. We were able to enjoy our trip with no worries. He was in good hands and we would send him back without hesitation. We are grateful for the outstanding care that he received.

My Mia had an AMAZING time on her vacation. She was pampered and love like one of the family. I loved the pictures and updates of all the fun she had and the host had with her. Knowing that she was being given the same care as she is use to made my vacation that much more enjoyable. Thank you!

Jayla and her mom were the SWEETEST!! I felt comfortable the moment I met them, you can just tell they are so kind and love animals. I was so nervous leaving our puppy but they sent updates, pictures and videos of our boy the entire weekend we were away. They gave him all the attention he needed while he was there and all the love and cuddles. We will 100% be using them for any future needs!

My dog Reynolds was extremely well taken care of with them! They even agreed to take him on very short notice when other arrangements fell through. They have a beautiful home and Reynolds seemed right at home. I received lots of updates and great communication. They were very thorough in making sure to follow his care instructions to the letter. I will definitely be booking in the future and highly recommend them for all your pet care needs :-)

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into our lives. I’m a retired kindergarten teacher and empty nester, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be home much of the day. That means plenty of time for potty breaks, backyard play, walks, meals, medications, naps—and, of course, cuddles. My daughter Jayla is a pre-med college student and joins me in caring for our guests when she’s home. Our mother-daughter partnership combines my flexible retired lifestyle and years of caregiving experience with Jayla’s energy, attentiveness, and love of animals. Because we focus on quality over quantity and prefer to care for one family’s dogs at a time, we can adapt our day around your pup’s normal routine rather than expecting them to adapt to ours. Whether your dog wants to play outside, follow me around the house, nap beside me, or curl up on the couch, there’s usually someone nearby to keep them company.

Safety, trust & environment

Your dog’s safety and comfort come first. Our peaceful, non-smoking home features a large, fully fenced backyard and doggie door, giving pups plenty of opportunities for fresh air, potty breaks, and backyard play—with supervision tailored to each dog's needs. We prefer to host one family’s dogs at a time, creating a calmer environment without a revolving door of unfamiliar boarding dogs. This also allows us to learn your pup’s personality and give them more individualized attention. We follow your instructions closely and do our best to maintain the routines your dog knows at home; including meals, medications, potty breaks, sleep schedules, walks, playtime, and downtime. We have experience caring for puppies, seniors, dogs requiring medication, and special-needs dogs, including blind and deaf pups. Inside, dogs are treated like family. If they're allowed on your furniture at home, they're welcome to cuddle with us on ours. You're also encouraged to bring their favorite bed, blanket, toys, crate, or anything else that helps our home feel familiar. We believe trust extends to pet parents, too, so we'll communicate with you and send photos and updates throughout their stay.

A typical day

There really isn't a “one-size-fits-all” day here; we tailor the experience to your dog. Mornings usually begin with a potty break in our large fenced backyard, followed by breakfast and any medications your pup needs. From there, the day may include neighborhood walks, backyard play, toys, belly rubs, naps, or simply following us around the house and enjoying some company. High-energy pups can enjoy more activity and play, while our senior and lower-energy guests are welcome to take life at their own pace. And if your dog's favorite activity is curling up beside us on the couch, we're pretty good at that too! 😊 Throughout the day, we follow your pup's normal feeding, potty, medication, and sleep routines as closely as possible. Because someone is home much of the day and we prefer to care for one family at a time, there's plenty of opportunity for individual attention. And somewhere between the playtime and cuddles, we'll be taking pictures to send you. ❤️

We want your pup to feel safe, comfortable, and at home with us, so the more you tell us, the better! Before their stay, you are invited to our home for a "Meet & Greet". Please share your dog's normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, potty habits, sleeping preferences, energy level, favorite activities, and any allergies or health considerations. We'd also like to know about separation anxiety, fears or triggers, resource guarding, escape tendencies, destructive behaviors, reactivity, or any history of aggression or biting. Please tell us how your dog typically responds to unfamiliar people and other dogs on walks. For our senior and special-needs guests, please share anything that will help us understand how they communicate their needs and how we can best support them. And don't forget the fun stuff! Tell us their favorite treats, toys, words they recognize, funny quirks, where they like to sleep, and what makes them happiest. There is no such thing as too much information when you're trusting us with someone you love. ❤️
