Availability
I work Tuesday-Friday from 12pm-7/8pm. Boarding: Every dog gets an early morning potty, a mid-day sniff walk, and a walk directly after work/before bed. On Saturdays I start work at 9/10am and get home around 2/3, so everyone gets an extra walk. Sundays are chill days, mostly napping, and indoor play with potty walks. Mondays I like to go hiking and even swimming on hot days. If I have a freindly foster, or my dog likes yours, I like to have group play on Sundays and Mondays. Every dog will get a minimum of 3 walks a day, play, training, and snacks. Pick up and drop off available for extra fee. Housesitting: I will visit your house twice a day to take care of your babies, before work anytime before 11:30am, and after work anytime after 8pm. Dogs will get walked depending on the time you selected. A 30 minute sit, dogs get a 20 minute walk, an hour sit, dogs get a 45 min walk. The rest of the time will be for feeding, cleaning, and anything else they need while I'm there. Housesitting is also available for cats and caged pets like rodents, reptiles and birds. Dog Daycare: starts from Saturday 4pm to Monday ONLY. Best for dogs with separation anxiety or young puppies that can't be left alone for more than an hour. Dogs must go home by 8pm. Pick up and drop off available for extra fee. Dog Walking: walks will be scheduled into my day as possible. Mornings and evenings available during my work week, and afternoons during the weekends. Ask for extra services during your booking. Bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, light grooming touch ups(around eyes, paws, and sanitary) can be requested for extra fee. Any dog under my care for 7+ days may receive these for free if requested.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a dog room set up for fosters and boards, separate from my personal dogs. My cats are kept safely in their basement kitty casa, so dogs who aren't good with cats are welcome. Dogs are allowed on the couch, and I love to cuddle and play with them during the day. I will have a rotating schedule so everyone has quality time with me. I treat every baby as my own, and love them all deeply.

A typical day
I wake up early to take the dogs on walks to potty. After potty walk, is beakfast, and a rest to digest. They get another walk before I have to leave for work, usually around 30 minutes or so at the park. I make sure to leave them with an interactive toy, like a treat dispenser ball, and/or a natural snack* while I go to work. After work theres a 3rd walk, play, and training, then dinner, they will always get a quick potty before bed. I love going hiking on the weekends during the warmer months, and will even take dogs swimming! I've taught a few dogs to play fetch on the water, as well as walk off-leash for maximum enjoyment. I also have long lines for those who can't walk off leash. It's your dogs mini vacation! *snacks are ONLY dried meats like pig ears, bully sticks, and beef jerky*

Pet care experience
My name is Jayla. I'm 23years old and I have been working with animals since I was 10! I work with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, birds and various other animals, of all sizes, ages, and temperment. I started my professional career working at the PSPCA, where I was a Kennel Attendant, and even took a horse handling course. I also spent some time as a vet's assistant where I learned a lot about vet medicine, including wound care, basic health assessment and treatments, giving medications, cpr and more! I spent some time at a couple different dog daycares, where I honed my dog handling, training, and behavior reading skills. Currently, I'm a dog groomer, and a certified dog trainer. My certificate is in Positive Reinforcement training, using LIMA methods to find which way of training works best for your dog. I also run a small, home based animal rescue program, and will occasionally have foster dogs and cats. I can train dogs in basic obedience, loose leash and off-leash walking, house breaking, impulse control, manners (no jumping, nipping, etc.), and reactivity. I also train humans how to understand and communicate with their pups, and how to grow a trusting, strong bond that they can rely on. I no longer have a yard, so every dog gets a minimum of 3 walks a day, early morning, mid moring before work, and directly after work. I take all dogs to a big park, everyday, at least 2 times a day, if not more, guaranteed for higher energy dogs. I have a 10ft,16ft, 30ft, and 50ft leads and they get to run around and play for as long as they want. I love going hiking and taking pups on fun adventures, especially during the summer, we're right by Pennypack on the Deleware. I always make sure to send pictures and videos to parents, mostly videos, so pet parents will be able to see their dogs body language and see how they really feel(pictures can often be misleading). Dogs that board with me MUST be fully crate trained (no excessive barking) as I prefer to keep my pups separate from boarders, so mandatory separation and crate time is needed. Playful dogs staying more than a week MAY have the opportunity to meet and play with my pups, however I am very strict about who interacts with them, as dogs are still animals and can be unpredictable at times. I am responsible, reliable, extremely transparent, and trustworthy and I hope to provide amazing service to you soon!

Reviews

Jayla is the best! This is my second time booking with her and she is always super communicative and flexible. She sends so many cute videos and keeps me updated throughout the whole stay. Would highly recommend her for anyone looking to board their pup while they’re away!!

Kayla is prompt, communicative, and conscientious. Best of all, she’s loving and truly enjoys dogs and their quieks, and that shows.

She's Awesome

Very professional. Consistently updating me throughout the couple of days. And very caring to my pup. I really appreciate her services.
