Pet care fits really naturally into my daily life. I work full-time during the day, but I always make time for morning and afternoon walks. My husband is home most of the day, so there’s usually someone around to give love, playtime, and potty breaks even if he steps out for a few hours. We have a sweet 4-year-old pup of our own and a playful 3-year-old child, so our home is full of fun and energy. With a big fenced-in yard, there’s plenty of safe space for running, playing, and exploring. Caring for dogs is just part of our everyday routine, and we love it!

Things like feeding schedule, medications, energy level, favorite activities, and how they do with other dogs, kids, or new people are all important. I also like to know if there are any quirks or triggers, like separation anxiety, thunder, or certain habits, so I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for just like they do at home.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active and engaged! During the week we enjoy walks, playtime in the yard, and plenty of snuggles. On the weekends, we like to go for car rides, visit the dog park, or head out to Flat Rock for some fresh air and exploring. I always try to match the activities to each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful and energetic or more relaxed and cuddly.

I’ve taken care of almost all breeds of dogs, friends, family and neighbors. I’ve always loved dogs and taking care of them we how our own dog and love to have other dogs over they play all day and have fun and have company.
