I believe that the most important information to know about a dog ahead of time is their medical background. I’d hate to be unprepared if something related to a health condition were to occur so knowing a dog’s medical background and age helps me feel better prepared for the visit to ensure I can take the best care of your friend. Quirks, habits, triggers, motivators, or any other information you think I should know I will absorb like a sponge. It’s very important to me to be prepared!

Exploration is key! Especially when the weather is nice, I love to be outside with the animals whether it is playing a game of fetch or going on a long stroll. Once everyone is all tuckered out, I will make sure your dog receives a sufficient amount of food and water, then lay back and watch a movie or study while making sure they feel safe and at peace after a long day, especially if it means they need a good cuddle. I make sure the dogs under my care get several potty breaks throughout the day, and keep a look out for signs that tell me when they need to go. I have worked with senior dogs in the past, and know that some dogs need to use the restroom more often than others.
