I work remotely during the week (Monday-Friday). I will make sure to schedule regular breaks to address their needs and spend some time with them during the work hours also. After work, I take them on longer walks around the community or spend time with them in the backyard. I also have a large basement, so if there is inclement weather, or your dog is allergy prone, they can still stay active and get the exercise they need indoors.

Me and my kids love working with dogs of all sizes. I have large fenced backyard and indoor space for your pups and we will engage with the pups during playtime. My 5 year old Labrador loves to play and will be a good company for your pup. The dogs are always supervised in our care. If your pup loves to explore on their own we can separate the pets giving them personal space. We live in a non-smoking home.

Meet and greet is mandatory before taking your pup in, we can also discuss each dog's individual needs and routines during this meeting. We require a record of updated vaccinations and will provide our dog records as well. We cannot accommodate dogs that display aggressive/destructive behaviors. Providing an emergency contact is mandatory.
A typical day
A typical day starts with taking the dogs out in the backyard to release some energy or use the bathroom. They can then relax around the house or engage with our dog Bruno (They will still be supervised). Throughout the day, we will send them outside from bathroom breaks and provide the dogs with food and water (separate the dogs during feeding times). After work hours are over, we then take the dogs out again to release energy, interact with each other, or go on a walk to explore our neighborhood. We have trails around our community, giving your dog mental stimulation through new sights and scents.

I had dogs since my childhood. I’ve always had a deep love for caring for pets. There’s something so fulfilling about the bond that forms when you provide a safe and loving home for an animal. The way they trust you, seek your comfort, and show their affection is incredibly heartwarming. It’s more than just feeding or walking them; it’s about understanding their needs, paying attention to their quirks, and being present in their lives. Willis had the best time!! He was so happy and tired from playing with their family dog Bruno all weekend long! We received lots of pictures and videos and we got to see that Willis spent lots of time outdoors playing with their dog and family. I would absolutely bring Willis back and recommend to anyone who has a dog to stay at Jaya’s home. She will treat your dog like a part of their family!
Jaya has always been amazing with my four year old pup, Winter. In addition to being loving and nurturing, Jaya plays games and keeps Winter stimulated and entertained! I couldn't ask for a better caregiver for my pup :)
Jaya is a warm and caring individual who has shown a genuine passion for animals. Although they are new to hosting on Rover, their enthusiasm and dedication to providing a safe and loving environment for pets are evident as they take amazing care of Bruno (beautiful german shepherd and lab). I have no doubt that they will offer exceptional care and attention to any furry friend in their care.
