Animal Lover That Works From Home
Hi, my name is Jay and I love all animals! I grew up with a house full of pets (dogs, cats, frogs, ferrets, snakes, mice, etc) that I took care of. I’m very comfortable around all types of pets. I absolutely love dogs and cats. Your dog would receive 5 star treatment while staying with me. I work from home full-time so I am able to give your dog or cat all the attention that they desire. I live in a ranch style 2 bedroom home with a large fenced in backyard. I live close by to a handful of parks with lots of smells that your dog would love. I’m a very physically active person, so I would be more than happy to take your dog on long walks or runs. Or, if you have a dog that isn’t very active they would love to sun bathe in my backyard. I currently own a 2 rescue cats and a 2 year old rescued border collie that loves dogs and cats. All 3 pets get along well and are often found napping together. I am willing to accommodate all dogs, cats, or any other pet that you’d like me to watch while you are away.

This is our second using Jay and definitely won’t be our last! It’s a very smooth transition with him and he always has pictures to send to update :) He makes us & Ivy feel comfortable! I would recommend using Jay for your fur baby!
Jay took great care of my cocker spaniel! This was her second stay and we will use Jay in the future.
Jay was very nice. He was gentle with our dog. Most importantly, he allowed our well behaved dog to have free access to his home with his dog instead of penning her up in a kennel during her stay. His home was easy to get to and he has a fenced backyard to keep his and my dog safe while outside. I would highly recommend him.
This was my first experience with Rover and it was a great one. Jay’s place is perfect for dogs, with a large backyard and a sweet resident dog. My dog is elderly but had a happy time playing with their dog and chilling. They sent me photos and videos every day, which were a delight to receive. I would feel confident leaving my dog there any time. Highly recommend!
Jay was one of the best Rover boarding we’ve had! I could tell he was taking great care of them and he updated me daily with how the day went and plenty of photos from the day. I highly recommend!

Schedule
My daily routine with my dog is going on a morning run and then a 2 mile walk 1-2 times a day depending on the weather. I work from home so I can easily take your dog on walks or let them out for potty breaks.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in backyard with a good amount of space to play in. I also will take your dog on long or short walks in the woods or around the neighborhood whatever is preferred. If needed I can crate your animal if I have to run and errand or at night.
Pets
A typical day
I like going on walks and runs so if your dog likes exercise we will go on daily 2+ mile walks or runs. I have a nature trail that is a 5 minutes walk from house so we can go on walks there.
