About Jay V.

Safety, trust & environment
While in your home, I will remain highly responsible, following any and all rules for pets and otherwise exactly as dictated. I have experience with my mother caretaking for people, homes, children and pets alike. I understand what it means to trust a stranger with your personal affairs, much less your fur babies. Please rest assured, they will be in the care of a fellow animal lover.
Information Jay V. would like to know about your pet
Happy and able to accommodate for special needs, kindly provide their leash walking habits and if they are healthy and happy to be around other animals.
A typical day
Visiting dog runs, strolling different parks, perhaps a trip to the Prospect Park dog beach (with a bath afterwards!), and will pick up that slimy tennis ball as many times as they’d enjoy.
Location
Staten Island, NY
Every pole will get its fair sniff
Pet care experience
Grew up with dogs, and currently beg my friends to let me walk their pooches when we go out. Experienced and confident in administering medication(s) and giving extra love to those with special needs <3

Reviews

Jay is the best! Even before Jay took him out for the first time, I knew he was in great hands. In the complementary meet and greet and over text, Jay asked so many questions that showed me that they were really invested in Harry’s success and knew the right questions to ask about a dog with complex behavioral issues like Harry. Since she started walking my dog, everything has been so smooth. She is extremely reliable and always very gentle with Harry. I would highly recommend Jay for any of your dog care needs.
Jay is patient and gentle with animals, paying close attention to their medical and emotional needs while caring for them. Jay is particularly good with cats who need IVs or other meds!
Jay is a responsible, hardworking, and caring individual. They have cared for my very LARGE lovable dog, Sonny, a few times now when needing a lovable person to tend to him for when I am away. Jay asked the necessary questions, such as walking, when he needs to go out, allergies, medical history, feeding times, etc. I was very impressed. If I ever needed to check up on my dog Jay was always very responsive with messaging back which eased my concern for when I was away and could actually enjoy my time. I could not highly recommend them more!
Jay is such a kindhearted and trustworthy individual who I’ve known for a very long time and loves all kinds of animals. Jay has always shown my pets so much love and care and is a true animal whisperer; always putting any pets at ease. Jay is also very personable and reliable. I’d recommend Jay as a pet sitter any day!
