About Me Do you need a pet sitter while you travel? Visiting Animal Friends is here for you! Visiting Animal Friends are animal welfare enthusiasts who commit full-time to pet training and pet sitting for your fur babies. They will get stellar care with me and my staff of 3 other animal caretakers. I have raised and taken care of dogs, cats, goats, and chickens of my own, neighbors, family, and friends since I was in elementary school. I grew up on a small farm. I raised two dogs from puppyhood, and a cat we domesticated, successfully, from the wild. Senior and end of life animals do not intimidate us! In fact everyone on staff is certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR. Kalonica, Michelle, Tiffany and I have known each other for years, and have provided many years of care for animals, from kittenhood and puppyhood to end of life care. We love to train, treat, exercise, feed, bathe, brush, play, and give company to animals and improve your relationships with your pets. When two of us are there for your animals you get two for the price of one! Privacy A note on privacy to people new to this, or new to feminism, **please inform your animal caretaker at the meet and greet if you have a “nanny cam” or any cameras that can see us during our pet sit, and all of their locations. It is creepy not to and we reserve the right to not book with you in the future if you don’t share this information with us. The best way that you can help us and the animals we serve is by leaving a review. It means a lot to us and substantially betters ous business. We really appreciate it! We am big communicators and enjoy taking photos with your animals! Photography is a passion of ours and no doubt we will send you some good animal pics! If you don’t want pictures of your animals to show up on the profile, let us know and we can text you photos directly instead.

Safety, trust & environment
Animals are happier in their home environments because they sleep better there and its familiar to them, and is set up for their routines. For these reasons we prefer to take care of pets in an environment that is already familiar to them. But if you do need them cared for out of your home boarding is available from our Berkeley location. Pet sit hours in your home are highly preferential to us because we operate on a small profit margin and the cost of cleaning and maintaining a professional pet boarding location is high.

Jay and team were incredible pup and house sitters. Our girls felt very loved and cared for. They were great communicators and kept us updated on all the fun happening at home while we were away. While away we had to suddenly extend our trip due to a health emergency for my mom and the team slid into action ensuring our girls were cared for; which allowed us to focus on getting her well. We are so thankful for Jay and their team and have already rebooked!
Jay was fantastic! My wife and I were traveling for 2 weeks. Jay took care of our cats. They took photos and spent time with the cats during each visit. When we returned home, our cats were calm and happy. I highly recommend Jay, and I will be requesting again in the future!
Jay did a great job holding down the fort and keeping my elderly dogs with health issues alive and happy while I was gone for the weekend. Very professional. Would rebook and recommend.
Jay was awesome! Super respectful and attentive to my dogs needs which are not always obvious.
