I’ve looked after both cats and dogs for around 12 years, caring for pets belonging to friends, family, and neighbours. With dogs, I have experience walking them regularly, feeding them, keeping to established routines, and making sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. With cats, I’ve helped with daily feeding, cleaning litter trays, maintaining a clean environment, and spending quiet time with them so they feel settled and comfortable while their owners are away. I’ve looked after pets in my own home as well as in others’ homes, which means I’m flexible and happy to adapt to what works best for you and your pet. I’m calm, reliable, and very attentive to animals’ needs, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always aim to make their time with me as stress free and positive as possible. Jay was an absolute superstar the entire way through the process - he took amazing care of our cat during our 2-week trip and kept us updated throughout. He left the place spotless and went above and beyond to make sure our return was seamless. He is a kind, friendly, thoughtful person and the exact person you'd want taking care of your pet. Jay looked after my two shih tzu puppies whilst I was on holiday for a week. He is reliable and very trustworthy. He did an excellent job- fed them on time and took them out for walks 3X a day. He even sent a photo of my dogs in the park. My dogs love him!

Schedule
I am a medical student with availability on weekends or most weekdays while preparing for my finals. Pet care is a regular part of my routine. I walk dogs, feed animals, and maintain their schedules daily. I ensure they have a safe and stimulating environment with clean spaces, fresh water, and regular playtime. I monitor their behaviour and wellbeing consistently, providing attention and affection to keep them happy and healthy. Having an animal to look after provides companionship and exercise for both me and the pet.

I care for pets by adapting to their individual needs. My home is quiet with two floors, a small fenced garden, and easy access to nearby green spaces. I follow owner instructions carefully, maintain clean living areas, provide fresh water, and give attention and affection. I monitor their behaviour and wellbeing to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. I communicate updates to build trust and make sure pets enjoy their time in my care.
A typical day
A typical day is calm, structured, and flexible around your pet’s needs. As I’m studying for exams, I’m at home for most of the day, which means pets are rarely left alone and get plenty of attention. I take regular study breaks, which gives me lots of opportunities for walks, playtime, feeding, and quiet companionship. I make sure pets get a good balance of activity, mental stimulation, and rest, while keeping to their usual routines as closely as possible.
