Labr-adorable home w/ private yard
Having been around dogs since my teenage years, I have always admired their ability to provide real care and companionship to us humans. I can be seen out and about with my well-mannered and social puppy Tsuki (sookee - white labrador mix). I’m comfortable administering medications and comfortable with both puppies and older dogs. My home is stocked with doggie beds, toys, cleaning supplies, and a wet vacuum so there isn’t a muddy paw print or a potty accident I can’t handle. You will get pictures while your fur baby is in my care! Rover provides a great opportunity for my Tsuki and Stetson to socialize, which is why I really enjoy the Rover service. I am both a customer and service provider. I require that owners ensure that your pups are up-to-date on vaccinations, flea/heart worm prevention, and related medications. This is for the safety of both your pup and mine! I do not watch new dogs without a meet and greet to ensure that my dogs and my home will be safe with your dog. I have also recently instated a rule that requires new clients/owners be vaccinated for covid 19.

I am really thankful to Jay for taking good care of my dog Genius a Belgian Malinois for 18 days while I was away on Vacation. Having an anxious dog , Jay reassured me that my dog will be okay. Jay knows how to handle my dog and knew how to manage his behavior. Also his 2 dogs Stetson and Tsuki were so friendly with my dog. The first time I went on vacation that I was not worried about my dog . Kay kept me updated about my dog stay in his play. Sending pictures of my dog playing with Stetson. Finally I found a dog sitter that I can be trusted of esp having such kind of dog. Will recommend Jay to my friends if they need a sitter. Thank you so much again Jay for taking good care of Genius while I was away.

Jay is absolutely amazing. From the moment we met, the grace and attentiveness was evident. Jay is a true dog parent and we were immediately reassured by their unspoken understanding of how our fur baby needed to be cared for. Jay is truly a gem. Not only is Jay a great caretaker, but a dope human being as well. So grateful!
Jay provided excellent care for our 5 month old basset hound, his home was well suited and set up to accommodate our vacuum cleaner of a dog. Finn seemed to enjoy his time with Tsuki as shown in the numerous pictures Jay sent us. I definitely would book again with Jay and would recommend using his service.
Jay was great with my rottie (Deebo). Deebo is only 4 months old and could be a handful, but Jay was incredible with him.
I recently had the pleasure of using Jay as my dog sitter, and I cannot recommend him highly enough! From the moment I contacted Jay his professionalism and love for animals were evident. He took the time to understand Buster’s routine, preferences, and quirks, which made me feel at ease. Throughout Buster’s stay Jay provided regular updates and photos, showing how much fun my dog was having. It was clear that Buster was not just being watched but was genuinely cared for and loved.

I have a flexible schedule that affords me the availability to care for dogs in my home (limit one dog at a time, with one exception for two dogs visiting from the same home.

I care for the dogs in my home as if they were my own. Every dog is different and will have unique needs including adapting to behavioral issues, being away from their owner, and learning a new environment. Luckily my dogs are very friendly and inviting. My Tsuki, a 6yo foxhound lab mix, is very friendly and social with new dogs, and Stetson, a 1yo big lug German Shepherd, is also friendly and playful.

I enjoy taking mine and other dogs to Golden Gate Park, Newell, Rodeo Beach, and other similar wooded and grassy areas. I do enjoy taking dogs to the dog parks though I tend to be very cautious about unleashing and letting them play with other dogs that may be in the vicinity. You can never be too careful. Otherwise, I like to play catch and take the dogs on long walks as well, depending on their athletic ability and energy levels.
