So, here's the deal - I'm Jay, and I'm absolutely nuts about dogs. I work in tech (yeah, one of those computer geeks), but my real passion? Pups. Big ones, small ones, fluffy ones, you name it. I don't have my own dog yet (saving up for a house with a yard first), so I'm basically looking to borrow your furry friend for some quality time. I've been the go-to dog guy for my friends and family forever. No fancy certifications or anything, just a ton of enthusiasm and a knack for tiring out even the most energetic dogs. I'm talking epic games of fetch, long walks, and belly rubs that'll make your dog think they've won the doggy lottery.

Look, I know your home is your dog's kingdom, and I respect that. I'll follow your instructions to a T - whether it's sticking to certain walking routes or making sure "Goofy" only gets his allotted treats. I'm always on high alert during walks. Your dog's safety is my top priority. And don't worry, I'll keep you in the loop with pics and messages. It'll be like you're right there with us (minus the dog hair on your clothes).

Jay was so kind with my last minute request to walk my dog, and had so much patience with him as well. I got multiple pictures and updates, and my dog came back tired every single time. I would definitely recommend Jay if you’re looking for someone reliable and experienced.
Every time our doorbell rings, Shiloh races to the door to see if it’s Jay 😁! Shiloh is so excited when Jay comes, prances beside him on their way, and returns content and happy after their long walk and play time in the park!! Thanks, Jay!!

Shiloh is thoroughly enjoying his walks with Jay! While Shiloh was initially hesitant, he now’s bounds out the door to meet him! Despite the bitter cold and snow, Jay has committed to walking Shiloh, going the full hour or beyond! Jay has shown skills in modifying Shiloh’s pulling behaviour during walks, too. Jay has walked Shiloh (strong, 85 lb Shepherd/Husky) twice now. The first time, Shiloh was a bit hesitant, but after just one walk, Shiloh was very excited, wagging his tail and happy to go with Jay! Jay was excellent with Shiloh, including behaviour modification for Shiloh's tendency to pull with force! By the end of each walk, Shiloh had learned to stay beside Jay when asked. Today was heavy snow and very cold. Despite that, Jay walked Shiloh for the full hour and even a few minutes extra! We greatly appreciate Jay's commitment and dog skills! Shiloh is thrilled as well :-D We will soon be asking Jay to return for Shiloh again.
Amazing! Jay was very detailed with his report and took so many photos. He took such good care of my girls. Very easy to communicate with and he's eager to meet the pups. They loved him.

Schedule
Here's the scoop on my availability: I work from home, so my evenings are wide open for dog adventures. Most weekdays, I'm free from about 5 PM until, well, whenever your pup gets tired of me (as if!). Weekends are pretty flexible too. For example, I'm usually free Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 10 PM - perfect for those after-work walks or play sessions. Need a midday potty break? Just give me a shout. I can usually sneak away from my computer for a bit. Perks of working from home, right?

- Okay, so... what do I need to know about your dog? Um, let's see. Oh yeah, any quirks I should watch out for? Like, does he freak out at skateboards or something? That'd be good to know. And health stuff - that's important. If your dog needs medications or has allergies or whatever, definitely let me know. I don't want to mess that up. Oh, and it helps to know if your dog's super friendly or kinda shy. Makes a difference in how we handle walks and stuff. Treats are always good to know about. Like, are they allowed? What kind? I mean, I'm not above a little bribery if it makes the walk go smoother, you know what I mean? Basically, just tell me whatever you think is important. I'm pretty flexible, but the more I know, the better I can take care of your pup.
