Safety, trust & environment
I have certificates in Fear Free animal environments, and further education into dog behaviours and training. I have the world's friendliest pug, who would love to keep your dog company. My house is always full of animals, so your pet will never be lonely. I have no issues crating animals when needed, or giving them medication either, orally, topical or by injection no problem. I will specially look after animals with disabilities, including diabetics. Also catering to exotics, included by not limited to, small animals, pocket pets, fish and reptiles. I WILL NOT use an electric collar if you provide me with one.

Information Jay H. would like to know about your pet
Any special requirements for a dog/cat can be discussed with me privately. I have no trouble administering oral medications, injections or transdermals. If your dog has dietary concerns please let me know, so they can be fed separately. If there are any behavioural issues, that's totally okay! I just need to know before hand what your animals limitations are.
A typical day
I tend to go for daily walks, in a beautiful secluded woodland trail near my home. My dogs are typically offleash, but until we build trust and recall your animals will remain safely on a leash, alongside mine. We explore beaches, baseball parks, and tons of local trails, that will keep your dogs nose sniffing!

Reviews

We have the utmost confidence in Jay. She goes above and beyond in providing care for our pet. Jay recently stayed in our home while looking after Paisley. Everything was well attended to, most importantly Paisley. The house was clean and Paisley’s fur almost glistened from numerous brushing sessions. Jay is a knowledgeable animal caretaker and is very easy and flexible in her approach. We appreciate the time she is able to devote to caregiving and the heart she puts into her work.

Thanks for everything.

Jay was amazing and took such good care of our dog Dunkin. My husband needed last minute care for Dunkin and ended up getting stuck in Newfoundland due to the wildfires. Jay picked up and dropped off Dunkin and was able to extend our booking. She provided us the price of mind knowing Dunkin was safe and enjoying time with her and her fur family. Thank you for everything!

A gem of a cat sitter! Reliable, communicative, and so caring! 110% recommend trusting Jay with your fur babies! Thanks again, Jay :)
