A dog’s best friend!
A life long dog lover, I’ve owned, trained, walked and cared for many dogs throughout my life. We currently do not own a dog so I get my “fix” taking excellent care of other people’s pets.

This was the first time Will was in a new setting with new people. He’s 9 so it was a big deal. Jay’s calm demeanor, experience and presence was a perfect fit for Will. The daily photos & updates were great and Will had a fabulous experience. Thank you to Jay & his wife for our first Rover experience! Everyone was happy, most importantly Will!!
When I dropped my dog off at Jay's he started crying with anticipation he was so excited. To me, that is the best sign, especially with a challenging dog. Jay has taken the time and energy to really connect with our boy and it means the world to us to have so much peace of mind when we travel.
Jay was extremely professional and an amazing host. He is the best person we’ve ever had take care of Champ—so diligent and caring. We would have him look after Champ any day.

I couldn’t be happier with the care my dog received! Our big boy can be a challenge and we left him for a full 10 days. From the start, Jay showed a genuine understanding of my dog's unique needs and personality. It was clear that he took the time to get to know him, connecting with him and making him more comfortable for his long stay. Jay kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. Jay and Terri are such wonderful and caring dog lovers! They’re super willing to help our special need rescue dog, who’s a bit anxious in new places. Jay took her for daily walks, spent quality time with her, and made sure she was well cared for. Holly sometimes get anxious in new environments that she would stop eating, and she didn’t eat the first few days. But Jay was so accommodating, giving Holly space to calm down and try different things to get her to eat. We got frequent texts and pictures update from Jay, and I was so happy to see Holly smiling in so many of them. Holly got so much love and care from Jay that we don’t have a worry about her at all while we’re away. We can’t recommend Jay enough for dog sitting and boarding!

Schedule
I am recently retired and have a flexible schedule which allows me to provide attentive care and walk your dog in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Safety, trust & environment
The dogs I board are allowed access to our entire house but usually choose to spend most of their time in the same room as me. We have a fenced in backyard and live 2 blocks from a fenced in school field which is great for on and off leash exercise.
A typical day
The dogs I sit typically enjoy a long (2-3 mile) morning walk, playing and exploring in out backyard, and patrolling for the many squirrels that run up and down the top of backyard fence.
