Cindy is a full-time stay-at-home mom, so dogs in our care receive plenty of love, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Our whole family genuinely loves having dogs around, and we treat every pup as part of our family while they’re with us. We’re happy to provide dog beds, bowls, toys, and a crate if needed. We’re typically available 24/7 and always make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

Hello! I’m Jay’s wife, Cindy. I start my mornings at 6 AM by heading out to the backyard with the dogs, and I love making sure they’re well cared for throughout the day. Mealtime is one of my favorite moments with them, so if you have any specific requests regarding your dog’s food, please feel free to let me know anytime! When dogs visit for the first time, they often want to go outside to the backyard every 30 minutes to an hour. This is usually because they are curious and exploring their new environment, seeking comfort in open spaces, marking their territory, or simply adjusting their bathroom habits while settling in. I enjoy spending time outside with the dogs, watching them explore and playing fetch—especially when the weather is nice. Even when they’re just roaming around the backyard, I always keep an eye on them to ensure they’re safe. When it’s time for a nap, I let the dogs rest peacefully while I send updates to their owners. I love being home all day, sharing my time with the dogs and my family. Whether your dog loves to play, cuddle, or needs some extra attention, I always tailor their care to ensure they’re comfortable and happy. Caring for dogs has been a big part of my life. Over the past five years, I’ve raised and nurtured dozens of Havanese and Labrador Retriever puppies before helping them find their forever homes. I also have a passion for photography! With my background in film, video production, and visual effects design, I love capturing special moments of the dogs through photos. I’m always happy to adjust to your dog’s preferences and needs, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any special requests or questions!

Please inform us in advance of any special behaviors or needs your dog may have so we can make the necessary preparations before boarding. Again we only accept hypoallergenic or non-shedding breeds. We'd appreciate knowing if your pup is up to date on all vaccinations.
A typical day
Small dogs here love playing games like fetch and tug-of-war. Outside of winter, we often take dogs for walks at a nearby park. Of course, we never force walks — if a dog prefers staying home, that’s totally fine. For pups who love walking, we’re always happy to take them out regularly and enjoy some fresh air together.

Hi, I’m Jay, and my wife Cindy is a full-time mom to our teenage daughter and our dog. Cindy grew up on a farm, which sparked her lifelong love for animals and plants. Over the years, we’ve cared for two Havanese dogs and a yellow Labrador Retriever. We currently have a very sweet female Havanese who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Our daughter also loves playing with dogs and takes great care of them. We have a spacious, fenced yard where your small dog can play safely. We only accept hypoallergenic or non-shedding breeds. We generally welcome dogs weighing between 3 and 25 pounds and allow them to lounge on our couches. However, for safety reasons, we cannot accommodate aggressive dogs, so you may need to find another sitter in that case.
