WARNING: DO NOT BOOK! As a past rover myself, this person is Not fit to be a rover.. If I could leave zero stars, I would. With a few good reviews, I was hoping I could trust this rover. However, Jay was very unprofessional, unaccountable and maybe just naive when it came to caring for my dog. I even hung around to show her the ropes and let them get acclimated to eachother. She did seem a little odd but got the benefit of the doubt. There were no issues. When she asked if I had a backup plan prior to booking, that should of been a red flag that I missed. However, not even 8 hours into the booking, and after my flight left, she texted me that it was not going to work out and that she would drop my dog back off at home, saying he is not fit for an apartment…however we live in an apartment. No details, nothing. It seemed a very low threshold for her. I would equate this to a baby sitter not wanting to take care of a crying baby and just ditching the baby while the parents are away, to more or less say “figure it out”. I use rover quite a bit, and this was just a one time while my usual was away. I have never had any issues reported due to my dog. I am still confused over the entire situation. If you want someone reliable, and trustworthy for potential needs of your animal, Do not book this rover as there is a high possibility she will leave you hanging out to dry. a nightmare experience. Contractor on break. Home with daily trips to the local trails. I am home all day during this break. No other pets or children in the home.

Single-story house with a backyard. Safe and secure. For dogs, we are in the equivalent of a cul de sac - one way in, one way out. 😁
A typical day
Please let me know if we have the thumbs up to meet some fur friends the dog park. For dogs, we visit shaded trails local to the area which also has a dog park.
