It's a "Doggy Dog" World!
Convenient to RIC Airport and major highways!! Home all-day from December 20th - January 4th. I raised both Chow Chows and Papillons and am currently without a pet. I sit CRATE-TRAINED toy, small and medium sized dogs and the crate requirement is a NON-NEGOTIABLE. (Please do not request a Meet and Greet if you are not comfortable having your dog crated when I am off premises). Your fur babies will enjoy a private fenced landscaped back yard for off leash exercise and walks on leash throughout a tree-lined neighborhood. Any diet you have for your pet I will follow religiously, I give all pets filtered ice and water throughout their stay and there is no need to bring dog bowls, your pet will dine on Le Creuset Pet Bowls! I also have treats if you run out or do not mind little extras for your pet. I live near RIC airport and major highways including I-64, I-295, I-895 and I am minutes away from the Capital Bike Trail (on Route 5). I am happy to accommodate early morning drop-offs for early flights and late night pick-ups from red eye flights! Long-term and short-term visits are available. Due to high demand (thanks y'all), I book UP TO FOUR stays at one time with up to SIX dogs if there are same household pairs or previous customers present. I will try to inform you if I have multiple bookings during the stay, however, I do not guarantee that your dog(s) will be the only dog here during their stay as I receive booking requests on a regular basis. I put protocols in place for safe socialization, feedings, walking on leash and sleeping arrangements. Again, CRATED dogs are required. I have a three-pronged reflective leash to safely walk them individually and as a group. Demand for pet sitting has increased significantly and with peak times including major holidays and spring break I ask that you please book early. I have breed restrictions in my area so please no Pit Bulls, Cane Corso, Rottweilers, my beloved Chows or other dogs with high attack histories. Dogs should not be destructive or aggressive (furniture chewing, wall damage, destroying crates, jumping on doors and windows, etc...). I regularly update my calendar for the year. I look forward to meeting you and caring for your dogs!

Smokey stayed with her for 3 days and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept me updated, took great care of Smokey, and made me feel really comfortable leaving her there. Smokey came back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and treats the dogs like her own. I would definitely book with her again and highly recommend!
Jay is always accommodating; even when the furry friends are not. She does an excellent job of making our fur baby feel comfortable and at home.
She took really good care of Cassie. Cassie was on a vacay. I had to pull her in the car. Dogs need a vacay too

Jay consistently provides attentive, individualized care for my doggo! She has been my go-to sitter for years and has adapted to our changing needs. During an unexpected situation Jay was an excellent communicator and again went above and beyond to ensure my girl was comfortable and well cared-for. I’m so thankful to have Jay’s support and care for Millie while I’m out of town!!

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are crated when I leave the premises for work or appointments and at bedtime for their safety. Dogs will receive supervised outdoor time and/or walks at least 2-3 times daily. Secure, fenced yard for off-leash and leashed walks. Open floor plan in a clean and cozy environment. Fresh filtered water always available. Dogs introduced and fed safely. Large spacious crates and fresh, plush linens.
A typical day
I believe in door-to-car service. I will meet you in the driveway and pick up your dog and their belongings and will deliver them to you for pick-up the same way. Many of my customers are leaving for or returning from travel and I want them to get their fur babies back as quickly as possible. Please send a text when you are en route and at least 10 minutes away and your dog will be walked, packed and waiting for you to arrive! We can do lots of walks, Playtime and we sometimes run short errands together!!!
