Your fur babys home away from home
Ive worked on Rover for several years before I took a long break for career reasons. I used to have 2 dogs (great Dane and Catahoula) and 2 long haired grey cats. Even with the crew I was still able to provide good home care for people’s fur children while they were away. Sometimes it was a full house but it was always fun. They’ve passed now and it’s just me. For the past 4 year I’ve volunteer at the humane association walking dogs and spending time with the ones that needed it. There I have learned in depth about health and care. I have fostered many different breeds which including Great Danes, Dutch shepherds, golden doodles and even a Chihuahuas lol. I have lived at my current residence now for 3.5 years and have a house with enough space to provide comfort and plenty of playroom. My community has three different grass play areas for animals and Egland Park is just down the road from me and is where I typically go for leash walks. I have a very open schedule and it’s just me. Jay was wonderful with Lucy! She came home happy, and I loved getting pictures and updates while I was away. He even shared little things he noticed about her, which showed he really took the time to get to know her. I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with him again!
Jay was a perfect sitter! He accommodated same day emergency need and watch my pup for a week. I felt confident in his ability to provide a safe and warm environment from the moment I dropped my dog off. He was super responsive and provided pictures and reassuring messages to let me know my dog was doing well. Definitely plan on using jay again! Both my pup and I loved our stay with jay!

Jay was great with my puppy Tilly. He made sure she got all the love and attention she needed. My pup was scared of the thunderstorm and he took extra measures to comfort her. Jay’s schedule worked perfect, he even allowed me to do a quick meet and greet beforehand. I know my pup is in great hands with Jay. Would book again with him!
Jerald was amazing! He was so accommodating and absolutely wonderful with Banks. I felt completely at ease leaving Banks with him, and I’m already booking again just two days later. Highly recommend!

Schedule
my schedule is very open. I am retired from the army and I work from home with a business I own. All I need is a day or two notice.

Safety, trust & environment
I will do my best to provide exactly what you ask for in care and making sure you dog or cat feel safe and calm while your away at work or out of town. I do my best to provide the care and treatment I would give my own. I can accommodate strict scheduling for any medications they need and feeding schedule as it is asked for. I do have my own crate still along with a variety of doggy toys.
A typical day
Typically wake up and head out for a morning walk around the neighborhood. In the evening, we’ll finish off with a nice long walk and/or Egland or dog park visit! In the event I have any other dogs being boarded, supervised playtime will happen throughout the day as well I will plan accordingly to what the client says their animals normally get. Insuring they feel safe in my home and follow their normal routines while providing plenty of attention and playtime as needed.
