Pet care experience

Dogs are the best part of the party

Every animal is family, that’s the best thing I’ve ever been taught. From a young age I cared for all my pets and took pride in keeping them happy and healthy. I began watching neighbors and friends pets and my happiness soared hearing how thrilled they were with my loving care. I enjoy sending time with literally every animal, but my specialty is dogs. I want to make sure any animal feels loved 100% of the time. At this time I am enrolled in Catch Academy to become a certified dog trainer specializing in reactive behavior. Currently I have one dog, a jumping spider, a tarantula, hermit crabs and two rabbits. (The rabbits will not come in contact with any of my boarders). I rescued my foxhound and raised him from a puppy, my other dog was a Siberian husky, she found her forever home with us at the age of 13 and crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 16.5. That being said, I am able to care for animals of all ages and give daily vitamins and medications. I am also able to groom with a daily brushing if needed, brush teeth and bathe a pet if needed. I am totally confident that your pet will have a blast with me during their stay, visit or walk! I believe that I will be able to manage their schedule and needs without them feeling stressed by their owner being away!

Jax was awesome! Hank is 1.5 years old, and this was our first time leaving him since having him. We were of course nervous leaving him. However Jax instantly put us at ease giving us tons of pictures and updates. He made lots of doggie friends, and was treated like a family member. We were able to enjoy our vacation guilt and worry free!!

Jax was amazing with our 2 reserved kitties! She was so patient with them, gave us daily reports and sweet pics, too! Jax was very thorough with their feeding and care, and that was very reassuring. By the middle of our trip, our very shy male cat was following Jax downstairs for breakfast, her new best buddy! That was a first for any sitter we have tried! Kudos to Jax, and we highly recommend her for excellent care and kindness to our pets!👍👍😽🐱

Safety, trust & environment

When I let them out I have a fenced in and locked deck and a large dog run for them to do their business safely. I also have a camera on the deck just in case! For my boarders I can walk them in the yard multiple times a day to make sure they are going potty and everything looks normal. I have a first aid kit and medicine on hand in case it is needed. Walk wise I carry bags, treats and a portable bottle water. If anything ever looks off I will call you immediately.

Pets

A typical day

There are multiple trails and parks located in my area that I can drive to for a nice walk at to dogs pace! If they are more of a lounger we can explore the yard and play some games together! When I am out of the home I keep all boarders separate/crated from other pets, unless we decide otherwise. Please let me know if they are okay being crated or can be in a room independently.
