Pet Sitter and Dog Walker
I am a 26 year old female currently attending Simon Fraser University. I am taking the summer off to work with Rover! Growing up, there was always a pet in my house (dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, etc.), and I have always enjoyed taking care of animals. I’ve also taken care of other people’s pets on numerous occasions. I know how important it is to be able trust other people with your pets, and I can promise that I will always take care of your pet as if they were my own. I have one thee-year-old cat named Binky who is good with other animals, but he won’t be there while any other dog or cat is boarding. A little bit about my services: - I am able to walk any size/breed/age of dog, at almost any time of day. - I can do drop in visits whenever needed. - I am available for Emergency/Last minute bookings- even if it’s 4 am, please don’t hesitate to contact me. - I am very flexible when it comes to time. I completely understand that sometimes plans change unexpectedly. Maybe you can’t find your car keys, or you have children to care for, or maybe you just really wanted to finish that episode on Netflix (don’t worry, I get it). Whatever the reason, I am always happy to help ease stress by allowing an “any time of day drop off” rule for both Dog Boarding and Doggy Day Care. - Flexible drop off/pick up times. Don’t worry if you said you’d drop your dog off at 12 pm, but you have to change the time to 6 pm - you booked that whole day, so I am here to accommodate you! - I provide at least one 30 minute walk per day for Dog Boarding and Doggy Day Care. If you’d like your pet to be walked for a longer amount of time, and/or more frequently, let me know! - I am able to take your pet to any of their favourite dog parks if you are comfortable with me travelling with them in a vehicle. - I can provide video and photo updates, as well as bathroom, feeding, walking and/or any other requests. - Very rarely will there be more than one dog at my home for Dog Boarding or Doggy Day Care. However, in the event there are two bookings on the same day(s), owners will be contacted to ensure that all parties are comfortable with two dogs being present in the house. If either of the two parties is not comfortable with this, then only the first booking request of the two will be accepted. Please let me know if you would like your pet to be the only pet in the house. - I have backup dog/cat food and dog/cat treats in case you forget to bring yours!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Jaunty is amazing. My dogs love her so much, they were looking for her after she left. She sends videos, pictures and messages keeping me updated with everything. She gives my dogs the attention and love they need which with two shepherds that’s a lot. Not only all of that but I came back to my house cleaner than it was when I left it. Highly recommend, 11/10 experience!!
Jaunty is a fabulous cat sitter. Both my cats were well taken care of while my family was away.I highly recommend her to others.
She is always flexible with her time to take care of my dog and has an excellent communication every time I ask! I appreciate her so much!

Though I do not know Jaunty personally myself, I am certain that our mutual friend would not recommend Jaunty as highly as she has to me, if she did not truly deserve this recommendation. I am more than happy to write this testimonial for Jaunty as I have had such an amazing experience, and continue to have a great experience with her caring for my pets. She is amazing with animals and my dogs are always happy to see her. I have come to trust her with my home and my pets as I am often working when she comes to take them for their walks. She is a caring and compassionate individual who always gives my animals the standard of care that I am comfortable with and expect. She is great if you have any pets with special needs such as food allergies or any special instructions. I write this confidently and I am certain that if she becomes part of your pets lives you would not have any regrets. I feel absolutely no hesitation leaving my animals in her care, and I completely trust her in my home when I am not there. 10/10 would recommend!!!
Jaunty is really great with dogs of all sizes, she is very kind natured and she very clearly loves animals. She's taken care of my dog before and I trust her completely.
