My partner and I joined Rover because dogs have been a part of our lives from a young age. I grew up alongside Afghan Hounds, which gave me an early appreciation for the care, patience and attention that dogs truly need. In my late teens I welcomed a Collie cross Jack Russell rescue into the family, and more recently I’ve had the joy of spending time with Cockapoos and Cocker Spaniels. My partner Mary also grown up around family dogs including Boxers and both have spent time around Akita Inus and Labradors, so we are comfortable with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. I’m Canine First Aid trained and have hands on experience caring for puppies and senior dogs, understanding the very different needs each life stage brings. Beyond dogs, I’m happy to look after a variety of pets I have experience caring for cats, birds and reptiles, so whatever your household looks like, you’re in good hands.

Jason and Mary were absolutely great, they were really easy to get in touch with and sent regular updates and pictures to let me know Willis was doing well. He seemed really relaxed and taken care of while he was with them.
Jason and Mary were fantastic with our dog, Edwin. It was our first time using a sitter, and they really put our minds at ease from the start. Edwin had what felt like a little holiday of his own, with lots of walks, attention and a great time with them. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jason and Mary and would happily leave Edwin with them again.

Your pet’s safety is my absolute priority. I have a fully secure garden, giving dogs a safe space to play and explore without any risk. With no other pets at home, your dog will receive complete one to one attention in a calm, relaxed environment. I’m Advanced DPS qualified, Pet First Aid trained, and fully insured to £1 million public liability so you can trust your pet is in the very safest hands.
A typical day
Every dog gets tailored care based on their personality and energy levels. We’ll enjoy walks across some of the best green spaces in the area from the rugged moorland trails of Tegg’s Nose Country Park and the ancient woodland paths of Alderley Edge, to the riverside walks along the Bollin Valley and the open fields around Macclesfield Forest. There’s always something new to sniff and explore. Boarding dogs settle into a calm home routine with regular outdoor breaks, play and plenty of attention throughout the day.
