A typical day
I start the day early with a walk or run for dogs, making sure they get exercise and a chance to enjoy being outside. I love being active, so I also spend time playing with them outdoors to help burn energy and keep them engaged. After we come back inside, I let them cool down in a comfortable environment and make sure they have fresh water. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, including any specific dietary or schedule requirements provided by the owner. For cats, I focus on enrichment through play and interaction based on their personality and comfort level. I also make sure they are fed according to their routine and any special instructions given. Throughout the day, I check in on their comfort, safety, and behavior. My goal is to keep every pet happy, relaxed, and cared for like they’re my own.

I’ve been working with animals since I was little and have grown up on a farm around a wide range of animals. Living on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals with different personalities and needs. I currently work at Pampered Paws and volunteer at animal shelters, giving me hands-on experience with both cats and dogs. I aspire to become a veterinarian, so I truly love every opportunity to care for animals. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away.
