I want to have a basic routine for every animal: feeding times and amounts, favorite toys, treats acceptable (appropriate amounts) and please note any special personality quirks ie. ‘my cat, Sampson, likes scritches under his chin but doesn’t enjoy petting on his back’ or ‘my dog, Ginger, doesn’t eat without having someone close to her bowl.’
A typical day
I like to keep as close to your animal family’s routine as possible; I know it’s hard for you to be away from them and they feel the same. I love walking and hiking. If your pets are leash trained and comfortable with a car ride we can spend that time together exploring local parks and trails or do walks in your neighborhood. Otherwise, I’ll be trying to get into their good graces at home: actively playing when your pets have the energy, allowable treats for good behavior, sometimes just being together is nice. I think positive reinforcement is the best training method, and every animal deserves respect, love and affection.

Pet care experience
I am always the first to be called when a friend needs doggy daycare or house sitting with dogs, cats, and often other animals. I’ve fostered and found homes for rescues internationally and domestically. I’ve worked for a doggy daycare where I was responsible for 50-70 dogs with a crew of 2-4 people. I also spent a few months off and on taking care of 10-22 huskies while part of the herd were sled racing. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and enjoy seeing all of their unique personalities. I’ve loved animals since I was small. We always had cats when I was little, as well as ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, my turtle boy China B, parakeets, and a Senegal parrot foster. I was surprised with a rescue dog when I was 10, Hemingway. It was an amazing experience and I helped train Hemmy to be a service dog for my grandmother who was visually impaired. Winter rates are now $250/day for basic overnights, includes 3 pets. Will adjust include extra rates accordingly to animals and household needs.

Jasmine is excellent! She did a wonderful job taking care of our four fur babies in our home. She's diligent, a great communicator, sent lots of photos and kept us informed of their activities as each day progressed. We would love to have her back any time!
