I've been caring for animals for over 30 years and have loved pets for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by both cats and dogs, and that passion led me to work at an animal shelter where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Over the years, I've had the joy of raising dogs ranging from tiny Yorkies to large Presa Canarios, and today I'm the proud owner of a 5-year-old Border Collie whom I've had since he was just 6 weeks old. I've also cared for senior dogs, including my own beloved senior dog who lived to be 15 years old. Caring for him throughout his senior years gave me firsthand experience with the patience, compassion, and special attention that older pets often need. I'm equally passionate about cats. My current cats were abandoned by their mother at just 4 weeks old, so I bottle-raised them myself. They're now almost a year old and thriving! I've also cared for senior cats, including my beloved cat who lived to the remarkable age of 22.
