Hi! I’m Jasmine! Dogs are a huge part of my life, both personally and professionally. I’ve been working professionally with detection dogs since 2022, and I currently work as a Lead Detection K9 Handler working dogs trained in narcotics, explosives, and firearms detection. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work dogs in all kinds of environments, including schools, stadiums, shipyards, ports, and other busy environments. I’ve also helped train new handlers and, of course, spent countless hours training and working my own dogs. Because I work with dogs every day, I’m very comfortable with all kinds of personalities. I understand the crazy, high-energy dogs, the working breeds that always need something to do, the young dogs that are still figuring life out, and the dogs that would rather just hang out and relax. I really enjoy getting to know each dog and figuring out what makes them happy. We live on 2.6 beautiful acres, so there is plenty of room for dogs to get outside, play, sniff, explore, and burn off some energy. One of my favorite things about our property is being able to give dogs space while still keeping their time outside supervised and safe. I also know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your dog with someone you don’t know. I have dogs of my own that mean everything to me, so I treat the dogs in my care the way I would want someone to treat mine. I’m big on keeping their normal routine as much as possible, giving them individual attention, and making sure they’re comfortable while they’re here. I’m comfortable with puppies, large dogs, high-energy dogs, working breeds, crate-trained dogs, and dogs that need a little more structure or enrichment. And if your dog is more of a couch potato, that’s perfectly fine too! Dogs genuinely are what I love. My career revolves around them, a huge part of my free time revolves around them, and I’m excited to be able to offer a place where other people can feel comfortable leaving their dogs when they need someone they can trust.
