Safety, trust & environment

I will always make sure I speak with you about your dog's personality and preferences before going for a walk (e.g. Whether they are comfortable around other dogs, if they are allowed off lead etc.). I will only take them to parks where there is space for them to explore on or off lead, and I prefer to only take them off lead if they know and recognise me (preferably after 3 or so walks). If a dog displays signs of anxiety or distress I am comfortable taking them away to a calm space and soothing them with a gentle tone.

Information Jasmine H. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or personality quirks I should be aware of, particular if it involves other animals (fowl, squirrels, cats etc)

A typical day

We will play fetch, run around together and go for playful walks! If your dog needs a little more of a stretch than normal I'm happy to take them for a few hours to tire them out or if they're just a little guy take them for a gentle stroll!

Absolutely adore all dogs and love walkies!!

Pet care experience

I adore dogs and I am unfortunately unable to have one in my rental flat, so I thought offering to walk others' dogs might fill the void! I regularly puppy sit for my sister's 4 year old whippet and my sister in law's cockapoo. I was also extremely lucky to always have a dog in my childhood home. Our first family dog was a scrappy, collie-cross called Baldrick with the cheekiest soul and, as he got older, the stinkiest breath. Then when I was 10 we got a rescue mongrel we called Dobby, who was the gentlest, best natured dog a family could wish for. Both Dobby and Baldrick lived until they were 18!!! I am used to being gentle with anxious dogs and ensuring boundaries are in place to make everyone feel safer and have the best walk possible! My partner and I both wish we could have a dog but unfortunately our current jobs and flat won't allow for pets! Therefore walking your dog would mean the world to me just to get some doggy love into my life!

Jasmine was very good at looking after our dog Bailey and was more than happy to stay late. I will be sure to call her up again when the need arises.

Our dog loves Jasmine! She has looked after her numerous times including as a puppy and always makes sure she is well looked after and well cuddled! Jasmine clearly loves dogs and nothing is too much trouble for her when it comes to our pup.

Jasmine loves dogs and she knows and understands how much people love their pets. She has grown up with dogs, caring for them and walking them, knowing their personalities and quirks, and knowing how to deal with anxiety or mischief. She is completely honest and reliable and your pet will quickly fall in love with her.
