I offer drop in visits. I do my best to leave your home the way it was when I arrived. I'll clean up any messes left by the pet with provided cleaning materials and generally dispose of litter using whatever method you normally use. I play with cats if they're eager for that, but I tend to let them approach me for whatever attention they'd like as cats can be particular about strangers.

A typical day
As most of my clients tend to be cats, I will typically play with them using whatever toys are left out by you or we just sit and chill together. I'm happy to brush them if one is provided as well as offer plenty of pets.

Pet care experience
I have always loved animals. As a kid I tried to start up my own pet sitting business, and while my town was small, I still had the opportunity to care for everything from fish to chickens to dogs. Since starting with Rover in 2021 I've had the opportunity to care for chickens, ducks, and guinea pigs in addition to the usual cats and dogs. I'm always eager to learn about caring for new types of animals! I have also cared for both dogs and cats that required various types of medication, including insulin, pills, liquid medication, and topical ear meds. Growing up, my family had a Daschund and miniature Pinscher for which I shared responsibility for 5 years. I had full responsibility of my Pug/Terrier mix through all 14 years of her life, the last two of which also included care for her diabetes, so I have experience with administering insulin. Currently I have a 9 year old Chihuahua/Terrier mix and a 4 year old chiweenie. I'm willing and eager to learn care for any animal you may need drop in visits for.

This was our first time booking a pet sitter and Jasmine was great! Since our boys have each other we are not as worried about leaving them alone for a few days, but it is nice to know someone is checking in on them and giving them attention. We tried to make it as simple as possible for Jasmine to check in on them, but of course the litter robot got full way earlier than we expected, so I asked her to empty it and she gladly did! We appreciated getting the photos and notes about the visit, and I was glad to hear that one of our cats who is usually pretty shy was actually friendly with her after spending such a short amount of time with her. We will definitely book with her again if she is available for our next vacation.
