I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I spent six months volunteering at a dog rescue centre in Barbados, where I helped care for rescue dogs of different ages, sizes and backgrounds. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, general care and, of course, giving them plenty of love and attention. At home, my mum and I have two dogs of our own, including a rescue dog we brought home from Barbados, so caring for dogs is a big part of my everyday life. I’ve also regularly dog sat for friends and family, as well as caring for cats while family members have been away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is with someone you can trust, and I’ll always treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. 🐾
