As a full time college student, I make sure to incorporate pet care into my daily routine in a few key ways. In the morning, I take my dog Bruno for a 10-minute walk before heading to school, which also helps me start my day with some exercise. I also make sure I feed him and my cats right after and check if their water fountain is full, and if their litter box is all clean. On my lunch break I come back home, I'll briefly play with Bruno and my cats, and then I'll have my mom or brother take him out for another walk in the afternoon. In the evening, I make sure to spend some quality time with them before bed, perhaps playing a game or just cuddling on the couch. This consistent routine helps them feel secure and happy, and it also gives me a much-needed break from my personal life.
