I'm a genuine dog lover who treats every dog as if they were part of the family. Over the years, I've cared for dogs of different breeds, ages, personalities and needs, from energetic young dogs and puppies to dogs needing extra patience, routine and attention. My experience includes regularly caring for a Sprocker Spaniel named Obi for around two years, several times a week and often overnight. This involved multiple daily walks and runs, feeding, bathing, playtime, toilet breaks, following a specific diet plan and keeping his owner updated throughout the day. Through this experience, I learned the importance of consistency, exercise and understanding the unique routine of each dog. I'm currently helping care for a young French Bulldog called Coco, who is still in the early stages of training. I follow her owner's training programme, including crate training, toilet training, feeding schedules and exercise routines. This has given me valuable experience working with young dogs, reinforcing positive behaviours and maintaining consistency in their development. I've also cared for my cousin's Staffy mix called Saf, and her litter of puppies. During this time, I helped monitor both Saf and her pups, ensuring they were fed, comfortable and well cared for while supporting the routines recommended by the owner. Saf also had some behavioural challenges, which taught me how important patience, calm handling and following an owner's guidance can be when caring for dogs with different needs. More recently, I looked after a sausage dog named Louis for around four months after he lost his owner. During this time, I provided plenty of companionship, walks, affection and overnight care to help him feel settled, safe and loved. This experience reinforced how important emotional support, patience and understanding can be for dogs going through changes in their lives. What makes our home special is that I live with my mum and sister, who are also huge dog lovers. Dogs receive plenty of affection, attention and companionship throughout the day while still having the space they need to relax and feel comfortable. I work from home for most of the week, meaning dogs are rarely left alone and can enjoy regular exercise, supervision and company. We're based in Stafford with access to plenty of green spaces, dog-friendly walking routes and a large enclosed garden. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, active playtime or simply having people around who genuinely care about them, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy and at home. For me, dog sitting and walking isn't just about supervision. It's about building trust with owners and creating a home-away-from-home environment where every dog is treated with the same love, care and respect as a member of the family.
