Since I was a kid, I have loved animals and volunteered to help care for friends' and families’ pets, from dogs and cats to reptiles, fish, and even farm animals! I've been doing Rover since 2019, and have cared for hundreds of dogs, cats, and more critters, so I have lots of experience with pets of all ages and breeds! I also worked for 2 years at the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network, caring for baby ducklings, injured seabirds and songbirds, raccoons, and other small mammals.

I like to take the time to meet each owner and pet before the sitting/walking to learn about their individual personalities and how to care for them. The best would be to print out their care instructions/daily schedule, so I can follow as close to their usual routine.
Ratings and reviews
Jaron was a great sitter for Lola and Miette! He was very communicative and kept us updated on how they were doing with videos and pictures. I could tell how relaxed and happy both of our pets were under his care! He left the house tidy. It was such a relief knowing that Lola and Miette were well cared for! We would definitely book him again.

Jaron stayed at my house with my cats for 10 days while I was in a trip. He took good care of my cats and was good sending texts so I could see how they were doing. On the other hand, he cooked and burnt the side of one of my cutting boards and didn’t do a good job cleaning up. The cat box had the poop cleared out but not the urine soaked litter, so I’m not sure if he’s clear about cleaning the litter box daily. All in all, a mixed review.
Jaron was great with my mini labradoodle Mochi for a drop in. Great communication, shared plenty of photos, and followed all instructions. I would definitely recommend him.
Jaron was wonderful at taking care of our pets and home while we were out of town. Our very shy dog Finn warmed to him and they seemed genuinely well taken care of. We will definitely be using him again :)
Jaron always takes such great care of our Boy. We couldn’t ask for a better house sitter and dog walker!

Schedule
I work the typical 40 hours a week as a wildlife biologist, however I split time between doing field work and WFH, so please ask about my current schedule and I will try to accommodate my decide as best I can.
