Pet care experience
Remote Worker with 6ft Fenced Yard
Hey there! My wife Sharon and I are lifelong dog lovers with years of experience caring for furry family members. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for friends and relatives since I was seven — walking, feeding, and spoiling their pups like my own. I work remotely, so your pet will get plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. There’s always someone home — our family lives with us — which means your pup will never be left alone for long. You may meet one of three people at drop-off or pick-up: me (Jared), Sharon, or Mandy. I personally handle all messages and coordination here on Rover, so you’ll always be communicating directly with me.

Ratings and reviews
Noah was well taken care of and they kept in contact. Very professional. I will use them again
They took great care of Nala, sending me lots of pictures to keep me updated! I would definitely use them in the future!

Jared was a fantastic host! He took such wonderful care of my dog and gave multiple updates and photos!

My dog always has a good time at Jared and Sharon's house. She likes to play with their dogs and follows them into their house instead of trying to run back to my car like she does with the groomer, so she must like it there. They have a nice fenced yard and Jared works from home so someone is usually around. They treat her like one of the family, and they are always my first choice when I need someone to watch my dog.

Jared and Sharon are great - easy to work with & my dog comes back happy!

Jared was extremely accommodating. He kept me up to date and was very responsive to my messages. It was my puppy’s first time being away from home since I adopted him and he came home being his usual self. Thank you for caring about my puppy! I definitely recommend Jared and his family.

Schedule
When it comes to scheduling, I try to keep things as flexible as possible. I understand that life gets busy, so I’m happy to accommodate late bookings or unique pick-up times whenever I can — just send me a message and we’ll find what works best for both of us. Typical drop-off and pick-up hours are 10 AM to 8 PM. For extended stays, I may allow drop-off the evening before at no extra cost (based on availability and discretion). Feeding is also part of the daily routine — my pups eat twice a day and always have fresh water available. I’m happy to adjust feeding times or portions to match your dog’s usual schedule so they feel right at home.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
At home, I have my own adorable sidekick — Nala, a friendly 15-lb Mini Poodle who loves meeting new furry friends. She’s always up for playtime or a cozy nap, buddy. Our backyard is a little pup paradise, fully enclosed with a secure 6-foot privacy fence, perfect for safe play and plenty of zoomies.
Pets
A typical day
My wife is a teacher and starts her day early — she’s up by 5 AM to let the dogs out and handle breakfast. I usually start work around 9 AM and do the same routine as needed throughout the day. After that, the pups spend most of their time hanging out with me in my home office or relaxing outside, depending on the weather.

- For the comfort and safety of all pets in our home, your dog must be kennel-trained for overnight stays — no exceptions. We’re typically fully booked, and nighttime kennel use helps ensure a calm, safe environment for everyone. The only exception to this rule is for returning clients, at our discretion. If your dog isn’t used to sleeping in a kennel, please let me know before booking so we can discuss suitable arrangements. Please also note that factors such as dog size, medication needs, or specific behavioral requirements may involve additional charges to ensure your pet’s comfort or a private setup. It’s very important to share all medication details or behavioral notes before booking. If medications are mentioned only at drop-off, I’ll message you to add the appropriate adjustment to keep things fair for all pet parents. I will not mention it during drop-off as that's not the time to discuss pricing/cost. Costs start at $5 per application. Because of high demand, I require a confirmed booking before scheduling a meet & greet. This ensures time is reserved for serious bookings only. Lastly, for safety reasons, I generally only accept dogs under 60 lbs. Larger dogs may be accepted only if they are calm, older, and have a gentle temperament. My resident mini poodle (15 lbs) is friendly, but safety comes first for everyone. Please respect these guidelines — unapproved exceptions at drop-off may result in added fees or an early pickup request.
