Hey there, I’m Jared — lifelong animal lover. I grew up in a pet-loving home, so I’ve been walking, feeding, arm wrestling, and taking naps with dogs for as long as I can remember. The first thing I did when I moved out on my own was adopt my dog Bruce (and then drove 15 hours to pick him up from Missouri). It wasn’t the wisest financial move for a broke 22-year-old on an entry level salary, but that was nearly 15 years ago I’ve never regretted it once. Bruce and I are attached at the hip and do pretty much everything together. Bruce has epilepsy and is getting up there in years, so I am very comfortable with administering medication and caring for dogs with special needs. That being said, Bruce is still full of energy and is more than happy to share his space, toys, and favorite napping spots with other dogs. I’m excited to hear about your dog and I can’t wait to meet them. If this city wasn’t so expensive I’m sure I’d do this for the love of the game.

Jared was a great sitter. His 2 dogs were perfect companions for our dog. He was understanding when I was running late for drop off and when my flight was cancelled/had to extend a day and then pick up earlier than expected because I had to go into work earlier the next day. Thank you Jared!

Jared was great - my pups clearly loved staying with him and his two dogs. When we walked by a few days later, both my dogs looked up and got excited at his building - not sure you could possibly have a better seal of approval!

Schedule
I work a full-time nine to five during the week with a hybrid schedule. I typically go into the office 2/3 days a week, but I can be flexible to accommodate your dog's needs.

Safety, trust & environment
If your dog decides to come hang out they'll have free range of my spacious two bedroom apartment and large private balcony that's perfect for lounging in sun spots. My building also has access to a private, pet-friendly terrace where we can go for exercise. I'll send you daily updates and pictures of your dog living it up in their new bachelor pad. Looking forward to hearing from you, but really looking forward to hanging with your dog.
