A typical day
🐶 With Dogs Training games: Teach them small tricks (shake, spin, sit pretty) with treats. Obstacle course: Use pillows, chairs, or boxes to create a mini agility course. Hide & seek: Hide treats or toys around the room and let them “hunt.” Tug-of-war or fetch indoors (if space allows). Photo shoot: Capture funny or cute moments for memory (or social media). 🐱 With Cats Laser pointer chase: Always a classic! Feather wand play: Great for bonding and exercise. DIY puzzle feeder: Hide treats in an egg carton or paper bag. “Cat TV”: Put on bird or fish videos and watch how they react.

I have experience will all kinds of animals and I would approach each client with professionalism. For dogs, my walks are structured around each dog's individual needs combining steady movement, safe leash handling, potty opportunities, and enrichment through sniffing and exploration. This results in a happier and more fulfilled dog than focusing on distance alone.

Jared did everything as expected. He arrived when he was supposed to, did was he was asked to do and send multiple photos of each visit. He was not a hands-off sitter, he sat on the couch and outside on the steps with the dogs, keeping them company and giving them lots of affection. I would use Jared again if I needed a sitter. This was a one time sitting as I had a family wedding out of state, usually a family member cares for my pets when I need to go away. Jared cared for my dogs better than my kids.

I give Jared a 5-Star ***** rating for today’s visit . Hershey bonded with Jared way beyond my expectations. As the saying goes: “A picture tells a thousand words.” And Hershey looked happy. My dog was safe and loved. I will be booking Jared again through Rover! I highly recommend Jared as well. 🐾💕🐾
I’m leaving this review so other people don’t go through the same thing my mother and I did. We hired Jared and his mom Karen about 6 months ago to walk our dog Wally 3 times a day, 7 days a week. My mom and I cannot walk him because we both have physical disabilities which inhibit us from doing so. We had issues with Jared not walking Wally enough, and after telling him about it THREE TIMES, we had to fire him. Jared would not walk Wally even ONE mile a day during a total of 90 minutes, or 3 30 minute walks. The day before we fired him, my mom went outside to get our package that was delivered to the wrong address, and saw Jared sitting while he was supposed to be walking Wally. She went out the next day to see if this was a one time thing, and he was sitting again. He sat down after walking Wally not even 5 minutes up the alley. He tried telling us he was only sitting for 1 to 2 minutes, which is a blatant lie because we saw him sitting longer. We have no idea how long he was doing this for, presumably months. He was extremely sneaky about this as we saw him sitting on our front porch during the summer and told him that he needed to walk Wally for the whole 30 minutes that he was hired for. So instead, he sitting down behind our apartment complex where he thought we would not see him. We did not know why we were having issues with Wally not having bowel movements every day, and now we know why. The poor thing was not being walked enough. When I confronted Jared about it, he tried to blame Wally and said that “Wally does not walk the way he wants him to.” Mind you, my dog is a BEAGLE and Jared knew about Wally‘s pulling right from day one, which is why we purchased him a front clipping harness. Not to be crude, but due to Jared‘s physical habitus, he is unable to stand and walk for 30 minutes at a time without taking breaks. I unfortunately do not trust Jared, and would not recommend him as a dog walker. My mother and I were paying him $350 A WEEK for him to sit down while he was supposed to be walking our precious dog. We both feel extremely disappointed and taken advantage of. What a horrible experience.
