In my role as a pet caregiver, I prioritize the well-being and happiness of every pet entrusted to my care, whether they are in my own home or their own familiar environment. When caring for pets in my home, I create a welcoming and pet-friendly atmosphere where they become part of my daily routine. This includes regular feeding on their established schedules, ample playtime in a secure and pet-proofed space, engaging activities tailored to their preferences, and cozy areas for rest. For client's homes, I make sure to maintain the routines and environments to which the pets are accustomed. This includes following feeding schedules, providing companionship, exercise, and adhering to any special instructions or medications as needed. My work-from-home setup allows me to give them the attention they deserve throughout the day, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and content in my care.

A typical day
I like to keep things fun and comfortable based on what each pet enjoys. For dogs, that might mean walks around the neighborhood, playing fetch in the yard, or exploring a nearby trail if they're up for it. For indoor time, I’m all about tug toys, puzzle games, and just hanging out together—some pups are happiest just napping near someone they trust. For cats, I keep things low-key but engaging. I’ll break out feather toys, laser pointers, or just give them space to play and explore at their own pace. And of course, I’m always up for some cuddle time if they are. The goal is to help your pet feel relaxed, entertained, and cared for while you're away. Let me know what they love to do, and I’ll make sure it’s part of our time together!

We had Jared watch our dog while we were on a weeklong vacation. I can’t say enough good to great things about the experience. He was very respectful and reliable and our dog absolutely loved him. We were able to truly enjoy vacation without having to worry if our dog was ok at home. When it comes to a reliable pet sitter you can’t get much better than Jared.
Jared is a top-notch dog friend and caretaker! When he's looked after my pup, he's been loving, responsible, and communicative. He smoothly managed my dog's frequent feeding schedule, his medication, and made sure he was getting outside and active. I trust him completely with the pup, recommend him without a doubt, and only wish we still lived nearby!
Jared is an amazing caretaker for dogs--in part, because he loves them so much. He is one of our whippet's favorite people. Jared is responsible, trustworthy, fun and always engaged, I can't recommend him highly enough.
We have had Jared watch our dogs for several years (5+), initially our Black Lab and more recently our two King Charles Cavaliers. He is just great with any size dog and understands the nuances of different breeds. He is always attentive to our dogs needs and goes above and beyond to give them the attention and love they need when we are away. Not only is Jared such a caring pet caretaker but he is very detail oriented and can handle our very specific and challenging food, medication and walk schedules for the cavaliers. They both have individual medical needs and he is very responsible with making sure they are adhered to. I would highly recommend Jared for your pet care, he is the best.
