Hello! My name is Jared Davies and I live in the Ballard area. I don’t currently have any pets of my own, but I grew up with multiple dogs and cats my entire childhood. I go on walks/runs every day around the Ballard area and miss having a furry friend to bring along with me. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. Happy to come meet you and your pet at your convenience, free of charge before we get anything scheduled!

I had a sitter cancel on me the day off my booking. Jared came in clutch accepting my request last minute. My boys really enjoyed staying with him.
Jared was wonderful with our dog, Gimli! He was kind, communicative, and took great care of him while we were away. We came home to a happy, well-loved pup and would absolutely trust Jared with Gimli again!
Jared loves animals and has an incredible connection with them -- both cats and dogs. I have witnessed this first hand. He has cared for a large lab, a small dachshund and a snarky old cat for me. He loved taking the lab on adventures -- walks, runs, hikes, etc. The dachshund just needed snuggles which he provided. The cat, well the cat doesn't really like anybody except for me and....Jared!

I am currently working remote throughout the week. I am pretty flexible and can accommodate to the needs of the pets that I am sitting for.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a good sized 1 bedroom apartment in Ballard. There are a few grassy areas just outside of my apartment, which is where I typically take them to go to the bathroom. I will take your dog on walks around the Ballard neighborhood. There are no other pets or people in my apartment, although my girlfriend occasionally helps out when I am pet sitting.
A typical day
I enjoy doing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and running. I would be able to take your dog outside on a long walk or run if they are able. Ballard is very walkable so I rarely use my car.
