Alaskan husky sled dog handler
I’ve had a passion for dogs since I was young, and that love has only grown over the years. I recently spent a summer in Alaska working as a sled dog handler, caring for 35 Alaskan Huskies, which taught me so much about dedication, patience, and the unique personalities of dogs. Since then, I’ve had the joy of dog sitting all over the world, where I’ve used Rover all over, dog sitting in New Zealand, and most recently Austria for a year. I’ve gained experience with all kinds of breeds and temperaments. Whether it’s playing, going for a walk around the neighborhood, or just hanging out and giving some extra love, I’m always happy to spend quality time with dogs. I look forward to caring for your pup as if they were my own!

Jared, was on time and stayed and hung out with our pup for the full hour! It was super helpful while we’re at work to know he was with someone who loves dogs and taking time to give them some exercise. Moose seemed so happy and was well taken care of.
Jared worked for our sled dog kennel for several months in Alaska and I have nothing but great things to say about his dog care! He has a natural way with dogs, a driven worker and great intuition with our canines. He was responsible for daily chores caring for our dogs and our homestead. He is a natural dog person a provides charisma, love and commitment to animal care.

I am currently free anytime of the day as I have plenty of time on my hands, especially on weekdays. I’m around anytime of the day through 2026.

Safety, trust & environment
I do not have a fenced in yard so I could not bring dogs to my home if that matters. I am very active so I would be happy to take dogs on walks/runs as I spend a lot of my time outside.
A typical day
I will be happy to bring your dog on walks, play with them in the yard or the house, or just give them a lot of attention hanging out.
