Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and consistent care throughout the day. I’m able to take breaks for walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and check-ins without leaving pets alone for long periods. Having a flexible schedule also helps me adapt to each pet’s specific needs and routine, whether they’re energetic and active or prefer a calmer environment with companionship and attention throughout the day.

I also provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and doing well. When caring for pets in my home, I create a calm, supervised environment where they can relax and feel at home. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether that means active playtime, walks, quiet companionship, or extra patience with shy or senior pets. Because I grew up around veterinary care through my grandparents, I’m comfortable recognizing changes in behavior and handling a variety of pet care routines responsibly and attentively.

For dogs, that can include walks, fetch, tug-of-war, outdoor playtime, enrichment games, and plenty of attention and affection. I also enjoy helping dogs burn energy in positive ways while keeping routines consistent.

I’ve spent years around dogs, cats, birds, and animals with different personalities and care needs. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, walks, playtime, administering basic medications, senior pet care, and making nervous pets feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet like family and always focus on keeping them happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. Jared is great with my dog, Maisie. He plays frisbee with her, takes her on walks, and genuinely enjoys spending time with her. He follows directions regarding her diet and is always prompt and responsive. Maisie absolutely loves spending time with him and I think she doesn’t miss me at all!
