I’ve had over two decades of experience raising and caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently the proud owner of a 1-year-old chocolate lab named Pepper, who I’ve raised since she was just 8 weeks old. Pepper is full of energy and has her fair share of medicinal needs, so I’m well-versed in administering medications and managing high-energy dogs with structure and patience. I’ve cared for everything from senior dogs to puppies, including those with behavioral quirks like aggression or overexcitement. Whether your dog prefers solo time or loves a playmate, I can tailor the experience to meet their needs (Pepper can stay home if a one-on-one environment is preferred). I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to keep you updated with photos and messages as often as you'd like.

Jared is awesome! He takes my dog on run's for no extra charge, and goes past the half hour limit. He's very good about sending pics and updates, I would recommend him to anyone with a large breed dog with lots of energy for sure.

I’m currently self-employed, which allows me the flexibility to adjust my schedule around your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or extended overnight stays.

Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment tailored to each dog’s specific needs. I have one dog at home, a playful and well-trained chocolate lab, so I always consider whether your dog would thrive better with a companion or in a solo setting. I’m highly attentive to routines, energy levels, and any special requirements like feeding schedules, medications, or crate training. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain consistency and make sure your dog feels secure while you’re away. My goal is always to provide the same love, structure, and attention you would.

A typical day
There’s no shortage of fun when your pup is with me! Depending on your dog’s energy level and preferences, we might head to the dog park for some social time, play fetch or tug-of-war in the backyard, or go for a stroll, or even a jog, around the neighborhood. If hiking is of interest, my favorite activity is a hiking adventure with Pepper.
