Pet care experience
Reactive dogs welcome!
What sets me apart is the diversity and depth of my experience. I have cared for animals in AZA Accredited Zoos and Aquariums in addition to beloved pets. I am a Certified Canine Training and Behavior Specialist (CCTBS) with the Animal Behavior Institute, and my methods are backed by empirical scientific evidence. No matter what the service, I treat my responsibilities with the utmost care and attentiveness. I am also more than happy to accept reactive and fear-aggressive pups, for which much of my experience involves. :)

Very pleasant. Very professional. Small job but was important to us. Would definitely have him back again.
Jared is a great guy. He did an excellent job taking care of our 4 cats for 5 days. He was always on time, he took time with each cat every day and feed, watered them. Also cleaned the 3 litter boxes every Day. We were Very very pleased with the service he gave our critters. Highly recommend him 5 Stars
Was super awesome! Able to help out last minute for us! No complaints!
Jared was wonderful to interact with and took really great care of my dog, Rue. He was responsive, communicative, and accommodating throughout the process and was a pleasure to interact with generally. My dog also took to Jared immediately, which can sometimes be challenging for her. They seemed to have a great week together and if I ever need a sitter again, I definitely plan on sending her to Jared!
Jared was super flexible after I messed up the booking. As always, his took fantastic care of Noodle. Thanks you, Jared!
I can’t express how thankful we are for Jared house-sitting our dog Jack this week. He even fed our fish and kept a plant alive for me! Daily photos, great care of Jack. Thank you again Jared! Would definitely recommend.

Schedule
Any pets under my care take priority in my schedule outside of my work as a part time driving instructor. The rest of the time I'm all theirs! I take pride in all of my work, and my level of pet care makes that very clear.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat all animals with respect and kindness. My approach is positive reinforcement only - gentle, firm and backed by real science. With my experience caring for animals of all ability levels and temperaments, I am comfortable administering any medications. The same care, attentiveness, and professionalism applies to all of my work.
A typical day
My favorite activity to do with pups is to bring them into nature. Natural areas are my favorite places to be and provide endless sources of stimulation for dogs. Though I also understand well that different breeds have different enrichment needs, and will tailor time spent with your pup(s) to what they will like best. I'll give your cats all the space they need and all the attention/playtime they might desire. I'm also happy to give them supervised outside time if you have a portable cat carrier or a very trusted harness!

- Let me know your pet's specific needs and challenges so I can accommodate them appropriately and set them at ease! It is especially important for me to know if your dog is reactive to men, as many are, and I am one. I pride myself on working well with dogs that others label aggressive or difficult. It's all about building a relationship! The more I know ahead of time, the better experience I can provide for you and your pet.
