Pet care is my passion
I worked for a company called “Dog Jogs” in Edmonton for two years where I got to care for hundreds of pets in and around the city. While working for Dog Jogs I became pet first aid certified, I was also taught dog training by their qualified dog trainer. I moved to Calgary and continued to work with pets at a dog daycare and boarding facility. Along with working with even more breeds of cats and dogs, I was taught professional grooming techniques, as well as administering different medications. I grew up in the Okanagan, always having dogs and cats (sometimes fish and chickens as well) and have always been more than happy to help when friends needed pet care. Now that I am back living in the Okanagan I would like to continue caring for pets before I start my journey to become a vet tech.

In my past experience, I have walked, run, gone into homes to let pets out for potty breaks, fed meals and or medicine, and enjoyed indoor play. Working for Dog Jog we were background checked and trusted to enter homes via lockboxes or key codes to then carry out services without a parent having to be present.

I am currently living with my parents to save money for travel in 2026. As the family ice cream store has come to a close for the summer, I have ample free time to care for everyone’s pets. I do walk or run the family dogs every day but would like to help be a reliable pet sitter/walker for anybody else who may not have the time or ability right now.
