Happy pet, happy life!
Hi there! I’m Janna — a lifelong animal lover with plenty of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats. I currently live with a sweet, sassy cat (not mine, but I help care for him daily), and I’ve spent plenty of time pet sitting for friends and family over the years. As early as I was able to, I walked dogs around the neighborhood. My uncle has a dog and a cat that I would watch almost every weekend in high school. I lived with my cousin for a year before arriving in LA, and she has three cats (two of them orange cats!) that I helped care for daily.

Janna is wonderful! She’s communicative and takes great care to insure the wellbeing of our senior dog! It’s cute, even the neighborhood kids who love to stop and pet our old guy have noticed her! They stopped me today to say, he had a sitter huh!? They were happy to report that he was well cared for. Our apartment was immaculate, and our dog was so calm and happy when I returned. Would absolutely hire Janna again!

Janna was great, she and my young cat Felice bonded at their meet & greet. She sent photos daily, which I loved, and she was a v good house sitter as well.
Dogs were well cared for! Janna is so chill she rubbed off on my anxious dog! We will definitely have her again.
Janna did an amazing job watching Kieko he had so much fun and I would definitely would book again🥳
I've know Janna for 3 years - first as her manager during a seasonal assignment at Crater Lake National Park, and then as a friend. While traveling the country last year Janna stayed with me for a week and took care of my 2 dogs while I was at work. The dogs needs include medicine multiple times a day, feeding, walking, bathroom breaks and spending time with them throughout the day as they tend to want to be around people as much as possible. Janna immediately took up with them and treated them like her own; I believe she has a natural inclination toward nurturing animals. In addition to this Janna has excellent organizational, communication, and prioritization skills and would make a wonderful addition to the Rover team. Best regards, Derrick Mullins

Schedule
I moved to LA recently to pursue film and work on my art. As of right now, I have a very open schedule but that is subject to change. I will update my schedule routinely as it changes, and if something is booked in advance I will prioritize that. I will also openly communicate as early as possible if there are any conflicts with schedules.

I understand how important it is to have someone trustworthy, attentive, and kind looking after your furry family member — and I’m here to offer just that. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or quiet and cuddly, I’ll adapt to their needs and routines. I work with care, patience, and plenty of affection. My years of caring for animals has allowed me to understand that every animal needs a different approach. Please let me know anything that would be helpful for giving your furry friend the best and most suited care for their needs. I’m happy to send regular photo updates and always prioritize communication. I am looking forward to meeting your furry friends and giving you peace of mind that they will be well taken care of while you are away!
A typical day
When I watch pets, I love making sure they feel happy, safe and loved-just like they would at home! For dogs, depending on their personality and energy level, I would bring your pup on long walks, play fetch, tug-of-war, let them run around a park or just explore the neighborhood together! For calmer dogs, we might relax with some cuddle time, gentle brushing or interactive toys that keep their minds active. When I care for cats, I focus on keeping them comfortable, entertained, and relaxed in their own space. I love engaging in playtime with feather wands, laser pointers, fake mice or whatever their favorite toy is! For more laid back kitties, I’m happy to provide cozy cuddle sessions, gentle brushing or simply hang out nearby to keep them company. I’m happy to give your cat some supervised out time outside if you prefer that as well! I pay close attention to each animals personality, as well as individual needs and preferences, to ensure every visit is filled with fun, care and companionship!
