My family has always had dogs and cats, the first dog was a pug/beagle cross, then a boxer/rottweiler cross, then two purebred border collies and a cocker spaniel. The cats were just your avarage barn cat but they were fat, sleek, healthy, and very well loved and taken care of. I grew up playing fetch and hide and seek with the dogs and sneaking the cats inside the house whenever I had the chance. We raised a few litters of border collie puppies and also a few litters of cocker spaniel puppies so I definitely have experience taking care of puppies.
