Ever since I was a child, my passion for animals has always been a driving force in my life. This led me to volunteer at Petco during my high school years, where I dedicated myself to caring for the cats. For a period of two years, I gained valuable experience and grew comfortable with all life stages of feline companions. Currently, I am proud to be a professional dog trainer and groomer, having immersed myself in this industry for the past three years. I find immense joy in every aspect of my work, particularly in building strong relationships with dogs of various breeds and their loving owners. Whether it's working with energetic puppies, hyperactive dogs, or shy and vulnerable senior canines, I am at ease and confident in my abilities to provide the appropriate care and support they need. Furthermore, I have recently taken on the role of a pet rescuer, which has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Advocating for these voiceless creatures and helping them acclimate to their new environments brings me great fulfillment. Being their voice and ensuring their comfort is a responsibility I hold dear. Overall, my journey has been driven by an unwavering love for animals, and I am thrilled to continue making a positive impact in their lives through my work as a pet care professional and rescuer.

When introducing a new pet to my home, I make it a priority to create a comfortable and welcoming environment for them. As a professional in the pet care industry, I have developed a keen ability to read various types of body language exhibited by animals. This skill allows me to gauge their comfort levels and understand what makes them feel at ease. I am patient and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that a new dog in their home feels safe and secure. If that means sitting on the floor until they feel comfortable approaching me, I am more than happy to do so. Once your furry friend has formed a bond with me, I prioritize following any instructions or guidelines that you, as their owner, provide. Consistency is key in maintaining their well-being and I am committed to upholding the routines and practices that you have established. Additionally, I place great importance on regular walks for dogs in my care. During these walks, I am constantly aware of my surroundings and remain vigilant in reading their body language. This allows me to ensure their safety and comfort throughout the entire walk. Overall, my approach to pet care is rooted in respect, empathy, and a deep understanding of the individual needs of each animal. I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and positive experience for all pets under my care.
Ratings and reviews
Janissa housesat 2 of my dogs, a senior 12yr old pitbull and a 7 yr old husky who is on medication for seizures. She was very attentive and loving to both dogs and kept them entertained. She provided the care needed and gave them their medications as advised. Janissa was great and I do recommend her. I will definitely be booking her again in the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working full time at a vet hospital, I’m open mainly on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Saturdays for whatever time you need me there for fur babies.
