I have a full time job in downtown DC but have a flexible schedule and love being as active as any young pet needs or are mellow as a senior one may require. I have a car and can be available to do morning, mid day and evening walks or feedings

When I pet sit, I make it a priority to follow your family’s routine as best as possible, and follow what your family’s instructions/house rules may be. One guaranteed thing will be that if I’m taking care of your pet, I will try to make myself most available to spend time with your pet and that they will be treated like family

Let me know if your dog’s favorite thing to do, their activity level/preference, their sleeping arrangement and their routine. I love to give cuddles and belly rubs - but if your pet is not into that, that’s okay! Diet and any special needs and instructions is also important!
A typical day
Depending on your pets needs, activities can include walks around the neighborhood or longer walks at a park in the area. If they have a favorite toy or activity, I may focus on doing that with them so they have a fun time while you’re away.

Pet care experience
I’ve always been an animal lover and had dogs thru my growing years. As friends, family and neighbors knew, they often would request I take care of their furry family when they went out of town, I suppose it was because they knew I would treat them w the love and care they do. I’ve pet sat many animals, including bunnies, birds, fish, iguanas and of course cats and dogs. I love all kind of animals and they tend to gravitate towards me as well! I have experience with taking care of senior dogs, pets with special needs and care and energetic puppies.
