Just let me know if your pet needs medication and usually requires more than one person to help with giving it. Then we will have to work out a plan for medicating whilst I’m alone.
A typical day
Some random fun activities: Fetch, tug of war, walking, racing if they get the ‘zoomies’, relaxing after the ‘zoomies’, hide and seek and lots of one-sided convos.

Pet care experience
If you have a special needs pet, or just want that extra security, I’m a great choice for you and your babies! I started over a decade ago, working in Petsmart in a “PetsHotel” boarding facility. I was eventually promoted to supervisor and have not looked back since. I have done a bit of everything from shelter work to currently working as a veterinary nurse. I am trained in CPR and I am comfortable giving medication, including experience in giving daily insulin injections. I am also comfortable with cats and certain exotics like snakes and ferrets, as long as the exotics are low maintenance. I am working on gaining more experience with them. I genuinely enjoy drop-ins and pet/house sitting. It is low stress for me AND for your pets as they’re not forced to stay in a boarding facility. It’s the best way for all of us to be as comfortable as possible.

I have personally worked with Janis and have never seen or heard of her tolerating any kind of mistreatment of animals. She is a very caring and enthusiastic person who enjoys the company of animals and takes incredible care of them.
Janis has a great love and compassion for all animals. She takes wonderful care of family pets, feeding and playing with our two dogs often. Because she also works as a veternary nurse, she quickly spots issues and takes action to alert us. She is an honest and dependable worker.
