My husband and I both work from home, so your pup will have constant animal and human companionship. We enjoy frequent walks and plenty of outdoor time off leash or in depending on the dog.

Our dog has free range of the house and 5 acre property, she enjoys napping on the couch, beds or on her dog beds. We free feed high quality dog food, and offer treats to reward and encourage positive behaviour. In the summer we love to swim and canoe and paddle with the dogs, spring and fall are perfect for hikes on the Bruce Trail. Winter is a great time to snowshoe and explore the trails and do a loop around the frozen lake. So much to do and explore, our Bernedoodle loves every dog she meets and wants nothing more that to hang out and play.

Our Bernedoodle is an unspayed female, so unfortunately we cannot look after an uneutered male. We have two rescue cats that sleep most of the day. We prefer dogs without a strong prey drive, or dogs that are friendly to cats.
A typical day
We have a long driveway that is perfect for a quick early morning or late evening potty break. We’ll take a few longer walks in the neighborhood to visit the various beaches on our lake. After a walk, it’s time for a treat and maybe a nap in the sun.

Pup paradise. 5 acre waterfront property. Clean lake for swimming. Large landscaped yard and forest. Friendly loveable bernedoodle and 2 rescue cats to play with. Constant human companionship. Free play inside and out, plus multiple long walks everyday. Dog loving family of 4 can provide around the lock care and companionship. Baths available in a big jacuzzi tub. Frogs, fish, chipmunks to chase and butterflies to catch.

This was my first time using dogvacay and I was thoroughly impressed. I husband and I were going for a weekend away in Collingwood and Janine looked after our dog Douglas. She responded quickly to my reservation request and was very easy to reach to make plans. She has a beautiful home with lots of property for your dog to play around. We were even sent a photo of Douglas while we were away, which made us feel much better. He came home happy and tired. I will definitely book with Janine again next time I am in Collingwood
